I bought these a month ago and I was finally able to wear them while walking the dog in the rain. I usually wear a 7.5 but decided after reading the hundreds of reviews on this site to size up half a size and I'm really glad I did. My shoe is roomy without being too big while wearing a regular sock, in a pinch I think I could wear some of my bulkier wool socks. I'm going to have to wait the cold weather to roll in to test that out. I've only worn the shoes once so I can't say if the waterproofing is going to hold up over time. One quibble, you have to double knot the laces because they came undone while I was walking. So far very pleased with my new shoes.

I absolutely LOVE these boots! Not only are they positively gorgeous, but they are the most comfortable pair of boots I've ever worn! The slate grey, suede exterior is so stylish. Plus it's incredibly weather resistant and completely waterproof. The thick and sturdy rubber soles have excellent tread and grip making it so easy for me to walk on slick or wet surfaces. And these boots keep my feet toasty warm even on the coldest of days. The super soft and plush insulation with faux fur trim feels as cozy as it looks. And I really love how lightweight these boots are. They feel more like the weight of sneakers instead of the heavy, clunky boots that I typically wear in the winter. These boots are so comfy that I seriously don't even want to take them off! The fit is perfect for me. Even with thicker socks, my normal size 6 fits great and my toes have plenty enough wiggle room. And I'm so impressed with the detailing on these boots. Everything down to the last stitch is perfection! These boots are top quality in everyway and I truly couldn't be more pleased with them! Highly recommended!!

I purchased these from a shoe shop in Clinton, IA and they are exactly as the reviews have stated. I am normally a 7.5 but I purchased a size 8. They were perfect fit! I have room for thicker socks too. I've owned Sorel Joan of Arc and was not a fan, but these are lightweight and super cute! I haven't tried them in the snow yet but I purchased since I am moving to Northern Minnesota in January.

To preface, I do love these boots. I'm usually between a size 7.5 and an 8. I read the reviews saying to size up and I did. So I ordered a size 8.5. That was TOO SMALL! I had to return it for a size 9. Order a least a full size up, not a half size up! Sorel, please change your sizing so people don't have to keep returning shoes because the size that they normally would wear doesn't fit them. Thank you. Overall, they're comfortable boots. I haven't taken them out in cold weather, but I'm in the UK for a semester abroad, so I'm sure I'll use them at some point as the weather gets colder and wetter.

I saw a woman wearing these at the airport and loved how they looked so asked her about them. My pair arrived yesterday and I am obsessed. They fit perfectly with zero break-in time. I sized up a half a size. I am a medium width and had no problem with them being too narrow. They work with a medium weight sock for me. So comfortable, lightweight, and did I mention warm? They are perfect for winter walks with the dogs, running errands, and any other activity that demands both comfort and warmth. Thank you, Sorel, for making these! I might need another pair in a different color. :)

I absolutely love this style and color of Sorel boots. I was so pleasantly surprised at how comfortable they were to wear and how warm they are. I live in Chicago and I need some sterdy winter boots that are weather proof. I was really surprised at how cute they also look on my feet. Absolutely wearing these all winter!!

I'm literally writing this review in the middle of my second winter wearing them and I absolutely LOVE THEM. They are the best all-around winter shoe I've ever owned. They are warm, comfy and keep my feet dry while I'm walking the dog in the rain. I've also used them for light hiking, they are actually more comfortable than my running shoes. I'm here to buy another pair, just because I never want to be without them. Please keep making them!
