Sorel really hit the ball out of the park with this boot! I purchased the Sorel Brex Boot Lace in three colors: the chalk/black, sandy tan/black, and dark moss/black in size 12M. (I did not like the look of this boot with the white sole and solid black upper... the soles would show the winter dirt and the solid black did not have that "spectator" look from the contrast. So I did not purchase them in that color combo.) I am a true size 12 and have had a few issues in the toe area with some Sorel boots in the past, but these are perfect. I can wear a light sock and my big toe is not hitting the front of the boot. I am 69 years old and not as tall as I used to be, so the height of the heel is great and the extra height in the platform gives me stability. Thank you Sorel. The rounded laces are very thick and high quality; I can tell they will not stretch out and they will last for years. The ankle support is awesome, especially the way the boot hugs the little nook in the back of my heel. The leather is so perfect it's hard to believe it's real and the stitching is impeccable. The bottom on the inside of the boot is firm yet cushiony. (The arch is not that well pronounced but I always add my own Vionic 3/4 arch into my shoes and boots.) This is a very high quality boot for the money and my only wish would be that there would be more warmth in the material of the inside of the boot as I have some neuropathy and the more I can keep my tootsies warm the better. I look forward to fall so I can actually wear my three pairs of Sorel boots, but for my practice walk in the living room I have given them an A+ and I highly recommend this brand and style to others.... I wish Sorel would make the SOREL Brex Boot Lace in Olive/Pear, Navy/Tan, and Burgundy/Black. I would buy them all.

I’m a solid size 9 1/2. I ordered the 10 which I normally do in boots and the fit did not work for me. Way too narrow in the toe area and it was so hard to put on due to a very grippy material inside the boot. I tried 2 different pair of socks and neither worked. I’ve had Sorels in the past that fit like a glove right out of the box but not this style for me. Mind you I have been wearing Birks all summer so this boot felt extra heavy and clunky to walk in. Maybe with some break in time they would be better but I stand all day so I need something more comfortable. They are cute but I will be returning.

Follow Zappos recommendation to 1/2 size up. Initially deeply regretted this final sale purchase, thinking no shoe could be this uncomfortable. But then, I recalled the reviewer who commented on her cardboard battle. I removed said cardboard and found a comfortable boot. Thank you reviewer! Love the red color.

These are beautiful boots! I love the style. I purchased the white, I do not have any white footwear. I would have loved to give them 5 stars, but I felt the width was a little bit narrow. I do not have a wide foot, in fact, it may be a little bit on the narrow side. I will wear them with a lighter weight sock because there is no way I could wear a heavy sock with the width being a little narrow. The length is good, and it has good arch support for my picky feet. I will add these to my collection of Sorel's. Just beware if you have a wider foot, especially in the toe area, this may feel tight on your feet.

I ordered a half size up in these and they're a tiny bit big, but I think my normal 9 1/2 would be too tight. The 10s are quite tight on the bridge of my foot as well as in the toe box. I want to keep them because they look great, but they will probably go back.

These are great boots but the sizing is off. I’m typically an 8 and sometimes an 8.5. I originally bought the 8 and returned it for a 9, because it was tight even with thin socks. I’d like to wear wool socks with these sometimes, and that will *just* work with the 9. I’d definitely recommend sizing up at least half a size if not a whole size.

It IS narrow and for this reason, I had to return it. Anyone with average or wide fee (or even the slightest bunion) will be so uncomfortable. Also,. while the material is nice, it's very clear that the show won't hold it's shape after use, the sides will cave. But it is a realyl cool, stylish shoe and now heavy at all (listen, don't wear boots if you dislike a bit of weight, it comes with the territory). I wish they came in wide. IF you have slim, narrow feet....these are yout new fave boots.

I really wanted to like these, but they were a bit long and slightly narrower than I need for my wide foot. I prefer the look and comfort of a rounder toe. I had bought boots from Sorel previously that fit great, but they all seem narrower now.

These are really cute, but unfortunately I had to return them. I am a solid 9 1/2. Ordered a 10. The toe area was too narrow (I’m 4 in. Width so technically a wide). and I got a tiny bit of slip in the heal. Sad I couldn’t keep them.

Awful! So uncomfortable and tight in every way. Very rigid.

After reading the reviews I ordered a half size up and at first that size felt a bit too roomy, so I ordered my regular size to compare. My regular size (6.5) was too small, so I kept the larger size and have been very pleased with the comfort. I also love the look of these boots and how well made they are with quality materials. I have several other pairs of Sorel shoes and I highly recommend this brand.

One of my favorite brands, Sorel always had great quality and unique styles. This is the 3rd pair of boots from them and I’ve loved everyone. This one is perfect! Love the color, the design, the comfort, it’s perfect. I’m between a 7.5 and an 8 and I think slim feet, so it’s a tad big but these are winter boots for me and with winter socks and tightening the laces my feet are snug. This ain’t an unusual thing for me, I pretty much deal with this with almost every boot. I’m happy with my purchase and I recommend the boots. I got a size 8.

These boots are awesome. They look cool, they feel solid. Stylish but look like they can get the job done. Unfortunately, the toe box area is too narrow and is uncomfortable to wear. Bummer! I was so excited about these! I sized up from my usual 7.5 to an 8 hoping that would mitigate the narrowness. No luck.
