This is my second pair of Teva multi-day hiking boots, I use them every day for work. Very light weight and keeps my feet dry

Great boots, love the wide toe box. Fit true to size. I had the Arrowoods, and these are just as good.

This boot is exactly what my husband asks for AGAIN and AGAIN. Heavy duty enough for all-day outdoor work but lightweight enough to wear all day.

the pull strap on the heel is outside of another internal layer which folds in, making the pull strap useless. returned them.

It is absolutely wonderful. Once on I can wear them for hours without a problem. I have an ankle problem, and both legs are weak. That is why I bought the bot rather than to the shoe, The additional support is great. They are not really easy to either put on or take off. I have learned how to do that without too much of a problem.

Fit well. Nice roomy toebox, with moderately narrow heal. Grippy outer sole.

From the first test hike about 5 miles instant comfort felt like a broken shoe. Great support without any pinched to the ankles . Will be interested in seeing how they track over the next year.

I work at a nursery and needed waterproof work boots that didn't have a safety toe, were comfortable and would last. These are exactly that.

These boots are made for walking! This is actually my second pair. The first pair withstood Gale force wind driven rain, Pacific Ocean salt water, snow, ice, and mud without a single leak! Please never stop selling this boot!!!!

2nd pair for me. The last is roomy up front for my wide fore foot with normal heel. Not Topo athletic wide but close enough. Notice the straight side for big toe, squarish toe box. Pretty unique, like Hanwag SF Extra and Meindl comfort lasts but I find these even more comfortable. Round toe box equals pain for me. These are relatively light, classic build, good sole. I use for fall/winter/spring general purpose and light cool weather hikes. Work nicely with Meindl comfort insoles. But the issues are real, tough to get on. Gets easier with a little break in and pulling laces out of tongue hold strap and angling foot in. Quick lacing eyelets sure would have helped. Pull on straps did rip heel stitching. Don't overtighten laces. Definitely improvement with break in. That may be too fussy for others. But I'll take the fuss for the true to size comfort fit.

I had a pair of Riva's about 15 years ago and loved them, I wore them out after about 5 years of hiking and travel, and ever since I've been trying to find another good pair but none have been as good as the old ones. I ordered both Rivas and Ridgeviews and the Rivas seemed like the best for trails and hiking, Ridgeview seemed like more of a city/street boot. I'm going to keep the Riva's and return the Ridgeviews. But I might keep looking, I think there are better boots in the same price range... Which is too bad because I loved my old Riva's... A very annoying thing about both these boots is that have all eyelets for lacing up, NO HOOKS, and it makes putting them on and taking them off unnecessarily difficult. Seems like a very poor design choice.

So far they have survived a rather tough work environment! The toe box could be wider, but still comfortable. I will recommend these.

This boot is great. I do like it a lot. I phone ordered it and asked if it was the same sizing as the ridge view low. I was told to order the same size. Sadly now the boot is small on my foot. I could of sent it back, I probably should of. But I didn't. I would say this boot is true to size. Unlike the ridge view low that runs larger.

When I purchased these boots about a year ago, I was extemely pleased with their comfort and design. I kept them in my car to throw on whenever I went out for a hike. Unfortunatley, the changes in temperature shrunk them to a point where I can barely squeeze my feet in. When I do get them on, I end up with huge heel blisters within an hour of wearing them. I've tried putting them in front of heaters and stuffing them with tennis balls to expand them but have had no luck. Would suggest ordering a half size up if you live somewhere with cold winters!

Bought these to replace my beloved arrowood rivas. Alas, while the fit is the same and they look to be the same blend of lightness and support, having fully closed loops up top mean they're way too difficult to get in and out of. Really bummed as I wanted to like them, but man what a poor product decision

These are described as composite toe boots. These are NOT composite toe or any other kind of safety toe boots
