I'll start off by stating that I'm a female who wears 9.5 in women's shoes and an 8 in men's (with some wiggle room.) I ordered an 8m/9.5w and they fit perfect. NOW!!! THIS IS WHY THESE SHOES ARE HEAVEN SENT! I deliver packages for a living and work 40(+)hrs a week/10hr-11.5hr days rain, snow, sleet, or shine. I was wearing combat boots for quite a while because they were light and could withstand the wet/muddy ground while keeping my feet at a comfortable temperature on cold or warm days Unfortunately, they had absolutely no support whatsoever, which left me with aching knees after every shift from running at each of my stops (anywhere between 160-190 stops per day) and jumping in and out of my work van CONSTANTLY all day. I used to wear my BMX sk8-hi's before I did my seasonal switcheroo to combat boots so I figured I'd check out some Vans MTE's. Honestly, what caught my eye about this specific shoe was the fact they were navy blue and matched my company's work jacket/my work vest. As I read the description I instantly said, "I gotzta get my pawz on dese!" AND THEY INSTANTLY EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS THE FIRST TIME I WORKED IN THEM. I legitimately felt like a ninja parkour'ing all over the place (obviously I'm just a delivery driver, but inner child me said "No, you are a ninja on a quest to save humanity. Do not fail oh, and SERIOUSLY?! Would you PLEASE STOP 'new shoe goofing' all over the place?! You're embarrassing me For real") 1. These shoes feel like I'm walking on the fluffiest cloud ever. I haven't experienced any knee pain since I've been wearing them. 2. They are INCREDIBLY lightweight and flexible which is great for all the running I do, especially on uneven terrain. 3. I've had these for about 2 weeks and since, I've worked in 25-65 degree weather (NJ weather fluctuates more than severe mood swings) and they managed to keep my feet at the PERFECT temperature. 4. The rubber waterproofing and traction on these are SUPERIOR. I've worked in rain and sleet, accidentally jumped into puddles, ran uphill and through gravel drive/walkways, delivered to muddy farms and places in the middle of the woods consisting of sugar sand as well as excessive leaves and twigs, and I've walked on icey sidewalks/driveways and on slippery stone tile porches that weren't salted. Somehow, I've maintained completely dry sturdy feet haven't slipped once or even ALMOST slipped yet.. The only comparison that comes to mind is that these shoes are like Chuck T's super cool older brother with the sweet ride that everyone wants to hang out with kind of like the Fonz Ayyyeee My only complaint is I had to find out the hard way that Vans no longer carries these in navy blue when I attempted to purchase a couple extra pair for future work use.

I bought these for my boyfriend in November 2021. He just sent me a pic today showing that the sole of the shoe separated from the shoe and he can put a finger through it. For the price of these shoes there's no way they shouldn't last. Very disappointed.

Please bring back the all black low vans destrcut sf. Those were my favorite shoes please make them a permanent release i'd buy 1,000 pairs. Beggin U

Comfortable and warm. I lucked out and got them on sale but they are definitely worth full price!

I use these for work, I work in a warehouse and the suede is tough and holds up with the wood pallets i come across daily. They're very comfortable for my 8hr shifts.

No issues comfortable, looks good and warm. Not for anything rough but for most of us more than enough

GREAT winter shoe; very comfortable. I was impressed with how warm my feet stayed when the weather was chilly.

I was looking for a pair to wear to an outdoor training for my dog. THESE ARE THE BEST! And there's a good arch support to them too. Only thing, on one shoe. the right "tongue" slides over.

Live this style! The lug soles are great for my everyday wear when I go from concrete to dirt trails and back again. The lace set up allows me to dial in the fit for my higher volume feet. Dig the full suede uppers and simple old school type styling. True to size for me. Keep bringing in the new seasonal colors.

Love mid top vans! These are super stylish and warm. I already have anxiety that one day I will have worn them out and will not be able to get another pair. Mid top vans are a rare find and these are waterproof too

Just went on a snowy walk in 25 degree weather & my feet were warm and dry the whole time. They have good traction in the snow. They are also roomy enough that you can fit thick warm socks in them. I treated mine with a suede waterproofing spray but I think they come with some kind of treatment already on them, though I did not test that. The blue color is awesome and I love the look. Mine had a slight squeak when I first got them but it went away after wearing for like 1 day. The suede on one shoe is a bit thinner than the other since it is a natural material but it doesn't seem to be an issue at all in terms of wear so far. I used to buy vans a lot but haven't loved recent styles, these ones check every box for me!

About to leave for six months traveling and needed some comfortable, weather resistant shoes for everyday wear. These are perfect! Looking forward to wearing them out!

I was wearing my "regular Vans" to work everyday and noticed my feet were cold as the temps dropped. I wanted a shoe that had the style of my old pair but some warmth for the season. This fit the bill exactly and I haven't had a single cold toe since their arrival. Couldn't be happier
