Great shoes but definite design flaw. The toe thong is hard leather that, instead of tube shaped or twisted, is flat and digs into toes on either side. Painful and unwearable. Had to send them back.

I purchased a pair of patent black Boating Jacks in 2017 after a disastrous attempt to wear a pair of Classic Jacks that killed my thin, bony feet. I'm a size 6 in every other shoe brand on the market except Jack Rogers and always size up to a 7. It's possible I'd fit in a 6 for this style according to the Fit Notes, but I stuck with the 7. On one occasion, I did have to size down to size 6 for the Sanibel Slide Boating Jack from 2018. The non-slip rubber sole of this sandal is a game changer and now I can wear Jack Rogers sandals! The rubber adds just the right amount of cushion and bounce and these are extremely light weight. The white sole does dirty easily but that's a small price to pay for comfort. If you're like me and you're feet are not very padded and can't wear the original Jacks with the thin, leather footbed, consider the Boating Jacks (lightweight at 9 1/8 oz) and the Slotted Sloan X Band (padded footbed, 12.5 oz) styles.

Love the hot pink color on this shoe! The boating sole means a more flexible, slip-proof sole, while maintaining the shape and style of the usual Jacks I love. The shoe looks great with my summer dresses. I look forward to additional designs and colors in this style!

Comfortable

Was needing a new pair of boat shoes but didn't want a shoe or sneaker....then I saw the Jack's. Love them. Comfortable, good looking and functional. I bought the navy and am very happy with my choice

I love these and the hot pink is so fun for summer. I can't wear them when walking all day because the footbed lacks support and my feet hurt if I walk all day in them. They are good for date nights and ballgames. Super cute.

I really wanted to like these but the fit is really strange. I am an 8.5 so I sized up to the 9 as suggested. The shoe itself was way too big and the band felt tight. Would probably be ok if you have a very narrow foot.

I love my navy boating jacks! They are so comfortable with a little extra heel and toe room to look perfect! It's so nice to walk without a click to the heel each step in such classy flip flops, too! I wear lots of blue in the summer and these can be dressed up or down!

I bought these for my daughter's Birthday and she absolutely loves them. They looked great on her feet and she stated that out of all the jacks, these were the most comfortable.

This is THE best summer sandal. They mold to your foot, no slipping around. The leather insole feels so smooth but not slippery. I have three colors and plan on getting more! They can be dressed up or down. Very versatile shoe. Classic look! Recommend highly.

This is my fifth pair of Boating Jacks!!! Don't ask how many Classic Jacks I have Great for beach, boating or just chillin'! You can't go wrong with these sandals! I'm a true fan!!

I love my Jack Rogers sandals but found these boat Jacks to be extra comfortable and flexible. Love the not slip sole!

They are a bit tight at first but as you wear them they get better and better. The bottom could be a bit thicker.

It always take a bit of effort to get Jacks to get worn in but it's so worth it. These boating Jacks are great on the boat and super slip resistant! Very happy with them.
