I've had these for a few months now and they're one more pair of very comfortable and reliable Salomon hiking shoes. Yes, the laces are kinda loose, but you can trade them if you want. I actually first sorte them during a hiking trip, didn't break them in at all, and didn't have any issues. Of course, you do you. These are VERY comfortable as I mentioned above and never gave me blisters no mater what socks I wore. Highly recommend, especially for the color: it's gorg!

The Predict Hikes very quickly moved to the top of my favorite shoe list. They are lightweight and very comfortable. I've done long hikes in them, short hikes, and even use them as my rock climbing approach shoe!

I have used these shoes on countless 14ers and they withstand the elements/techy terrain. I love that they keep my feet warm on the summits and dry through creek crossings. I highly recommend these for people looking for a lightweight/high-cushion shoe to hike and even run down trails with.

I absolutely adore these shoes! Not only do they make for great comfort and style while hanging around town, but they are refreshingly comfortable on trail too! I love that they really stand out as a fashion statement while also giving me the confidence of a blister-free hiking day. I love having them as a light alternative to the boots I normally wear (Quest 4 GTX) for the days when I know I will be doing moderate level hikes. I have only worn them on day hikes, and they have perfomed really well. Next is trying them out for backpacking...I'll keep you posted.

I was able to wear these right out of the box and hike a 13er without issues! I love the colorway, they are lightweight, waterproof and breathable. They were true to size (I wear a 7.5) and are holding up through multiple hikes!

Excellent fit right out of the box. I have owned several pairs of Salomon shoes and they have all been of excellent comfort and value!
I'd also recommend:

Super comfortable right out of the box! I got these in the mail the day before I left on a big hiking trip to Yosemite. I wore them all week, no break in period needed, no blisters and fit like a dream. Just enough support without being clunky, waterproof tested great, plus an awesome color.

These shoes when you put them on feel like a running shoe because they are so light and playful. However, I am currently recovering from a severe stress fracture in my foot and when a shoe doesn't have good support I can feel it and guess what I can't feel a thing!

I'm a women's 10 which usually ends up being both a long and wide shoe but in the Predict hike it actually stayed rather narrow which made for an incredibly comfortable and secure ride. I've worn these hiking and mountain biking and love how lightweight and "sneaker"-like they feel. Good support through the ankle and a super cush footbed. The color is also autumnal and fun!

These shoes are the bomb! Not only cute but so confortable and efficient. I got them to specifically wear them on a 30+ backpacking trip but failed to "brake them in" well, come to find out they don't need braking in at all. They felt as comfy on mile 1 as they did in mile 30! Highly recommended!

I love Salomon hiking boots that I can wear from the shoebox to the trail without having to break them in. My first impression on these is how comfortable they are, and how lightweight they are. Can't wait to take these out on the trail in the rain with the Gore-Tex technology.

I took these out on a few 14er hikes this weekend and they performed beautifully! I am loving the support and cushion plus the added ankle support of the mid-length shoe. They provided plenty of warmth for the cold alpine start, breathable and waterproof against the creek crossings. I am recommending these to all of my friends looking for their next hiking shoe.

Bought these a few weeks ago but have only worn them once so far. It had been raining but not really heavily. They didn't leak and they helped me keep my footing really well. I'm not sure how comfortable they're going to be as I haven't really worn them in yes, but do far so good!

I will order these boots again once I've exhausted this pair. So comfortable with great cushioning which I'm in desperate need of as a a keen walker with stubborn plantar fasciitis! I stomp 10K daily and these boots have been amazing. The laces can come undo unless you tie them really tightly and I wouldn't go out in a monsoon for hours walking in them - I'll pick up my Quest boots for that, but they are a great lightweight walking boots I'd be happy to recommend - just go half a size up to your normal size for room with a walking sock :-)

Awesome Shoe a bit narrow but so lightweight you can walk forever. Sadly they are not waterproof as I was hoping which is very disappointing it seems to break as soon the shoe is broken in . Right at toe box Area. But for long long walks just perfect Boot.

My past experience with Salomon shoes is that they're pretty hard and not much arch support. These shoes are decently cushy! I added superfeet insoles and have no foot pain after 8 miles. The round laces do slip so I have to relace and tighten the at least once. Very breathable and flexible. Have not gotten to test the waterpoofness yet but am happy so far.

I have always loved the Salomon Speedcross brand. I came across the hiker and said, "Let's give it a try". I needed a new pair for work (delivery driver). I love them, everything about except the laces, hence the reason for the 4 stars. The laces are so long and of round that I have to tread them through the other end of the laces just so I don't have to tie laces all day.

I've finally decided on keeping these after replacing the sole insert with my old KEEN ones. so even if that makes them very slightly heavier, I would put better inserts in them. secondly, the laces keep coming undone. So I would put a different kind of shoelaces on the shoes. thank you

These were not true to size for me. Tried them on with thin socks. Not as wide or long as I expected. I felt like it should be a 1/2 size larger.

The sneaker is so so cute - fits snug, comfort everywhere except on the toes. I was surprised by this because I have another pair of Salomon and they fit so well. This sneaker fits narrow feet. It’s sturdy. I wanted to like these so bad but I have to return them.

Any tips on how to keep laces tight and tied? Do you suggest another type of lace? Will need to change out before my extended hiking trip. Thanks

I am a guy and did not know these were supposed to be womens shoes! luckily they must run a little big. The photo looks like the bottom of shoes are orange but they are pink. Still really comfy and not sending them back. I dont care but someone might.

I give them four stars because I have not worn them for a long time yet. I like the level of cushion that aids my feet pain when I walk for the suburb roads (concrete and asphalt pavements). I have other Salomon's trail running and hiking shoes. But, when I wore them for road walking, I experienced unbearable pains. So, I use my new PREDICT HIKE MID GORE-TEX as my orthopedic shoes. I bought them a half size up to wear thick socks for cold winter day walking. I live in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, and winter walking and running are very challenging. I usually wear size 6.5 for road running shoes but found that size 7 is also comfortable for winter and summer. I use these shoes for walking on roads, for less than an hour, and two or three times a week.
