Unplanned purchase as was surprised by the weather on a hiking trip with non-weatherproof shoes. Very comfortable fit out if the box, a bit on the small size - UK 11, I usually wear 10.5. They kept my feet dry paired with Dri-Fit Crew socks for the rest of the trip. Very happy for the moment with this incidental purchase, the time will tell if the durability is up to the price paid.

These were perfection when running through the snow. Feet stayed dry and warm with wool socks. The grip and traction I had in the snow was terrific.

These are well made shoes. However, they run narrow. I saw other reviews saying this but wanted to try them for myself.
I wear a 9.5 D. I ordered a 10 D and they were too narrow.

Site does not make you aware the product will come from France and shipping time seems very slow. It took 3 days to even show it was shipped so be aware when ordering.

The weird mesh on the top the the shoe makes limits the angle that I can put it on. It's not even flexible. Also the heel cub is loose. Overall, the shoes are fine but the design is weird. Returned.

These trainers a couple of days and then before I had worn them outside I was kneeling down on a carpet and only after saw the toe had worn down to the white material underneath. Unfortunately I coloured it with marker pen hoping to disguise it and it didn't work so I can't return them. Pity not as hard wearing as XA or XD lines

These shoes fit well and were true to size. However, they fell apart faster than almost any other shoe I've had. These are supposed to be for trail running and other outdoor activities but are not up for the task. The material starts to tear where they flex at the toe and, for me, it only took light hiking/walking and Disneyworld for this to happen. The tread is also very slippery on anything wet (rocks, some restaurants/shops, etc.) where my kids weren't slipping in standard running shoes. In addition, the tread under the pad of my foot is now completely smooth. They looked great and fit great when new, but I won't be buying Salomon again since these didn't hold up like other brands I've worn.
