This coat is excellent! I tried on at least half a dozen long, warm coats before settling this one. It's more flattering than most, and insanely warm. I just visited Copenhagen and was outdoors a lot (walking about 7 miles a day), but this coat kept me toasty warm in temps down to the high 20s F. There were days that were SO windy that I was literally blown off course, but the coat kept out the cold. Definitely a great buy! Notes on sizing: I am 5'4" and the coat hits below the knee. I got an XS and could put a huge, thick sweater under it with room to spare.

Super warm, soft, color just as pictured. I would size down If you are debating between sizes.

I ordered this jacket about 2 years ago and I got it in a beautiful purple that doesn't seem to be available anymore; however, this coat is AMAZING. I am not entering any type of sweepstakes. I know the price point is high, but I have gotten so many compliments on this coat! It keeps me SUPER WARM. If you're thinking about buying it, don't think, just click. I promise it'll be one of the best purchases you've ever made.

This jacket already took me places. I did a few hikings with it and the warmth that this jacket provided me is everything. It's long enough one can wear leggings and boots when it's snowing. Good for travel, hiking and on the other hand cool for a casual evening. I love the street style that I get when I wear it with joggers and hoodies.

I love this super-warm parka, which I purchased to replace my well-loved Metropolitan Parka that is 15 years old. I like the additional length for wicked cold and wind chilled days.

I bought this jacket for myself and I loved it! Warm,light as a featherno pun intended,:) long as I need it to be (walking 2-3 my furry babies) so I need to be warm on very cold days the same as my dogs!:) it's just perfect jacket! Highly recommend this jacket!

Super warm Parka, just used it on a 15 degree and snowy walk on Salt Lake City downtown and kept me warm. If you want a fitter look, size down.

This is a great coat. It fits perfectly according to the size chart, but it is roomy enough to wear a bulky sweater underneath it. It is very warm - good for Chicago winters. One particularly nice feature is that the zipper goes all the way up to the top of the collar. When it is zipped all the way up, you don't need a scarf. I wish that there were a belt loop in back because the belt sometimes comes out of the side loop.

Purchased as a gift. She loves it. Runs bigger, but is true to size if you need to fit thick layers under.

I purchased this coat for my daughter for Xmas. Unfortunately, I had to return but will be reordering for a smaller size. The product brand speaks for itself. Top quality materials put together with a top quality result.

Comfortable and warm. It protects me from the NYC winter. I love that the belt brings it together nicely. I don't feel like I'm wearing a bag for a coat.

I purchased this for a gift for my GF for Christmas. Of course i did the dreaded is she a size small or medium. Peeking in both walk in closets i found sizes in each and was at a loss. I used the sizing information provided online by north face and it fit like a glove. Will absolutely be purchasing from them again.

Good and warm. The belt is low quality and doesn't look really good, but the jacket itself is very nice.

Very warm, I can go an outside with a t-shirt, wind around 20mph and -35C and don't feel cold. The best investment for winter, also is long so it helps to keep most of your body warm

I use it for this cold weather with t-shirt and I didn't feel any cold

I use this coat to wear to work, with skirts, dresses, pants, or casual attire. I also wear this coat in the rain - I look forward to wearing it in the snow!

I love my Nuptse Belted Long Parka! I am one who is always cold and weather conditions in the northeast can get brutal during the winter months. This coat has kept me very warm! I have no complaints! In addition, it is very stylish and I get lots of compliments on it!

Stylish Casual or Sport look, depends on what hat or shoes and bag you wear with. Nice color, feminine shape, warm and very lightweight, zipped pockets. Very good quality. Received many compliments.

The zippers can be problematic. I'm not impressed with customer service.
