Don't buy. The soles are super weird, and the vibram is poorly glued to the foam and becomes detached after moderate use. I got less than 50 miles on these shoes (wore them 4-5 times on trail runs). I asked New Balance to make it good, and they gave me a run around. Sad to see they won't standby their products. For a $160 you can do much better.

a great shoe, but for me, best to order a 1/2 size larger then with a regular NB running/walking shoe.

After wearing these shoes twice the upper lace "eyelet" broke. The design is a strip of fabric that is stitched at each eyelet location. The stitching weakens the integrity of the fabric letting the fabric tear.

This shoe is terrific, though the sole is thicker than a "normal" shoe. The aggressive traction and overall comfort are top notch.

I run quite a bit (treadmill mostly) and made the mistake of going with a less expensive pair--never again. This shoe is fantastic -- feels great.

The most comfortable shoes that I own. My feet were broken several times as a former hockey player. These sneakers are like walking on air. No more sore feet by the end of the day. I am impressed. I own over 100 pairs of shoes some with hefty price tags. These are my go to shoes when my feet get sore.

I have had these Trail V2’s for a couple of weeks. The size is 11 Wide EE. I wanted something with a higher sole for working in the gardens, going fishing and general wear. I have a pair of new of 1080’s which fit perfect that I use for walking, a couple of miles a week. I noticed they feel fantastic. So when I saw the Trail V2’s, although a little costly, I thought I give them a try. If I didn’t like them, I’ll send them back. Well I took them out of the box, put them on, they felt great, left them on, for rest of the day. Wore them for a week, straight. During that time, I went for the mile walk, just wore the Trail ones, I walked the first fifty feet and said to myself, these are the softest soles, or sneakers, I have ever worn. I also feel the same about my 1080’s. Love ‘em, how long they last remains to be seen.

I ran over 1,000 miles in my Fresh Foam More Trail v1 last year. I ran the Scout Mountain Ultra 100. I ran around the Tetons a couple of times. I wore them to the top of Wyoming's Gannett Peak. I didn't want to replace them, but the Trail v2 have been excellent so far. They take the best of the v1 and have added some comfort and protection. I like these as much as I liked the v1.

MoreTrail v2 brings a little cushion, solid grip, and terrific confidence underfoot with this update. A high stack yet nimble feel, with the ability to eat up miles on both smooth and technical trails. Runs lighter than its actual weight.

My feet get sore in any other shoe I've tried - wore these all day and never got sore. So comfortable!

I used them for a Grand Canyon one day rim to rim hike and they were perfect. The extra cushion on the way down was really helpful, the traction was good and they were comfortable during the entire hike.

Went in to buy a pair of Hoka trail running shoes (which I own a few pair and other Hoka styles) I left the store with these after putting them on my feet. Instant comfort. Immediately could tell these were extremely well made and fit me like a glove. They didn't carry and could not get the other color offered so went home and ordered the other color as well off the NB website. Very happy with the purchase. I hope NB keeps these in their line up!

I hike to go birding. These shoes are great for trail walking in rough terrain. They are the best hikers I've ever had.

I'm a bigger dude, wear size 13 shoes, I got the "wide" version of these shoes and I love them. Probably the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. Pretty expensive, but you can't beat the comfort level.

I'm a huge fan of both the v1 and v2 of this shoe but for different reasons. The v2 is a totally different show. The v2 has a way more aggressive vibram outsole, has a toe guard and seems like thicker yet less cushioned midsole. The v2 was more of a hybrid road/trail shoe better for smooth trails. The v2 is much better for rocky, loose, steep, technical trails.
