The fit and sizing was perfect, but the huge “GORETEX” logo on the inside of the shoe is why I’m sending these back. I make a point to wear only minimal logos (the new balance “N” is abstract enough that I let it slide) but unless you want to be a walking billboard for goretex, give these shoes a pass.

Why the heck print “Gore Tex” in giant letters on the shoe? So ugly! It’s not clearly visible in the pics on this site. Be advised.

I was on my annual search for a waterproof shoe for winter. Every year I get a pair or two and every year the shoes end up in the Goodwill bag. The usual issues are too stiff or not enough padding in the inner sole or not *quite* wide enough for my Fred Flintstone shaped feet. WELL…this Fresh Foam and *really* nice inner sole padding, nicely flexible when walking (yet good support) and, because it’s fabric (vs. my usual leather or suede), enough give that the width is fine. HURRAH!!

I ordered these Gore-tex shoes for rainy weather. The first time it rained I put them on and my feet were soaking wet in minutes. I thought the point of Gore-tex was rain resistance.

I've been wearing them for a month, except in the bath and in bed, and have experienced no problems with my feet in them. They're not completely waterproof. My toes got wet, in a half hour walk in the rain. These are still my favorite shoes though.

I hadn't noticed that this had text written in large letters. Yuck. With New Balance, I have to remember to go a full size up from what I normally wear. They seem to run small consistently. I miss an old pair of black and teal NBs, but they don't make them anymore. Will try again. Keep making shoes that DON'T have white soles!!

Fantastic winter dogwalking shoes for the PNW. Lighter and better for my legs than my rainboots are, with enough protection for rains and wet grass.

After about a year of extensive research, I went to a running store in my neighborhood and asked about waterproof running shoes. They went to the back room and came out with these. It was love at first sight! Then I read Gore Tex on the side of the shoe and I knew it was meant to be! They are completely waterproof! (Which is a must-have in Seattle) The store clerk recommended to go up one whole size because our feet swell up when walking/running. I've had them for about 6 months now and they are still completely waterproof and even more comfy than when I first bought them! Very blessed to have such an amazing shoe! Thank You Jesus!

I love these shoes, wide toe bed, cushiony bottom and waterproof. My only complaint was that the waterproofing did no last as long as I would like

Pretty much I got what was described. I needed something that stayed dry for a work shoe and it's perfect. A little tight in the toe, but that probably is my toe and not the shoe. .

The colors are not as bright as I thought they would have been, so I do find the sneaker a bit dark. I ordered a size eight a bit long towards the toes, but after I put my orthotics in it took up more of the space so with thicker soaks in the winter I guess it will be ok. I do find this color is not good for a summer sneaker, far too dark makes a good color for winter I guess. BUT THE QUALITY IS REALLY NICE. AND THE PRICE IS A BIT TOO HIGH. Delivery service was great. And I do find they run a tad bit large in length, but the wide for a wide fit was perfect. A 5 star for comfort.

I have been on my feet working for the past 15 years. Never have I come across such a amazingly comfortable shoe! After reading the reviews I got a half size bigger and they fit perfectly. My only regret is that I didn't get them sooner! They really are worth every penny. I will re-buy these when they wear out for the rest of my life!

They are great shoes but I don't particularly like The Goretex logo in big letters. I prefer the looks of the previous model, which o have worn to death

I bought these 880v11 GTX shoes for a recent trip to Ireland. I was worried about the potential of rain and wet feet. I have the 880 running shoes and just love them for their comfort and how well my orthotics fit in them. I figured that the GTX version of the 880 should be the same. I was correct. My orthotics fit perfectly into the 880v11 GTX shoes. I didn't really get to test the waterproofness of my new shoes as it never rained enough any day of my trip to Ireland. These shoes are super comfortable though and good looking and I will enjoy wearing them regardless. I sure hope they will prove to be as waterproof as Goretex should be.

I've had several pairs of new balances now and I love this version of the 880 for the waterproof factor. They feel a little heavier than my V 11 or 12s but that's cuz of the goretex and They're still light enough to be comfortable.

880s have been my go to shoe forever. Perfect fit and wear well. The only way to make them better was to make 'em waterproof, so NB made a GTX version.

There is good lateral support and not too much roll in the toe, which is better for my knees.

They were a little tight at first, but once I wore them for a couple days they felt very comfortable. Honestly did not expect how comfy they are to walk in. I have bad feet, so I need support and online research said these ones were good, which led me to hope walking would simply not hurt in them, but they give so much support I've actually been able to enjoy walking in them. Very happy.

I always wear NB 880. They are the most comfortable shoe ever. I have plantar fasciitis and this shoe with my orthotic make me able to walk the dogs for hours with no pain. I was searching online and found this gorgeous color. The top is black but the heal is blue and purple. Looks beautiful. I love it.
