My daughter (6) has worn these daily for almost a year. She needs a new pair not because they're worn, but because they're getting too small. She asked for the exact same pair because she loves them so much. And so do I - we are HARD on shoes and do a lot outside and these have held up to everything!

Our young daughter likes this shoe. She says it's her favorite.

I bought this pair of hiking shoes for my seven year old. We go to a national park to hike mountains every year. The shoe fits her wide foot well. She also likes the color (she got the pink and teal colored pair). We hiked in snow with micro spikes and she never complained once. She thinks it's so cool that they're waterproof.

My kid loves this shoes. We've take them to Turks and Caicos and he wears them every day in Truckee, CA. They're great a reducing odor and staying dry. Highly recommend.

I bought these shoes for my son in hope of keeping his feet dry while playing. Unfortunately, the first time he wore them he was playing on wet grass and his feet got wet. This is my sons third pair of Merrell shoes and we love the rugged construction of them that hold up to his abuse. Luckily, he out grows the shoe before the shoe even needs to be replaced. As for trying to find a waterproof playing shoe the search continues.

So I love these shoes for my daughter. They are one of the few waterproof sneakers on the market (so important for slushy and wet climates like mine) and also one of the few that comes in a wide size. I order them for my daughter every year. My one complaint, is that they seem to wear easily. After about 3 months of daily use, my the soles are starting to separate and the fabric is tearing. This is not typically what I would expect with Merrells...I have been a lover of merrell shoes for much of my adult life and have always relied on them for durability. So fit and function are good but they seem to wear more quickly than they should.

My 10 year old wore these shoes once to school. He came back and said they weren't very waterproof and they were uncomfortable. Since he wore them, we can no longer return them. So now I have a set of shoes sitting by the door which I don't know what to do with because he refuses to wear them. I don't know what he did at school to say they weren't very waterproof. He could have been simply walking in the rain or he could have been playing in puddles. So I honestly can't give a reason as to why he said his feet got wet.
