Got these for my husband as a birthday present. He doesn't like being cold, so it's a drag getting him out for runs once it's chilly. He took 'em out on a breezy fall evening run and came back saying how great they were. In the past he's worn shorts over his tights, but didn't think he needed to with these. I got him a medium, he's 6'2 and about 170 fairly slim build. His butt looks great in them. Samsung Note 10 in a slim case fits into the bigger pocket.

These pants kept me very warm (almost a little too warm) in 40-50 degree weather. My guess is that they would be ideal for weather below 40, but I haven't had a chance to use them in those conditions yet. They are very durable -- they held up well after being washed in the washing machine. The fabric is thick so there is good coverage, but it is also stretchy. It was very comfortable and easy to move in, and it didn't rise up on my hips. I liked how my phone fit easily in the pocket and didn't move around once I put it in there.

I really liked the overall look of these thermal running tights. When i first put them on, they felt like they were immediately conforming to my body. The fit was perfectly and the stretch was just right. While they do stretch, they did not expand throughout my workout. I even wore them the whole day and they were barely noticeable. I live in NYC and go run several times a week outdoors. The lining on the inside was so comfortable and warm. I felt very comfortable during my run in the cold. My favorite part of these pants were all the pockets and compartments it had. They weren?t bulky at all but could also fit my essentials very comfortably ? keys, phone, lip balm. These are currently my go to and I look forward to trying them out as it gets colder outside.

Crisp fall mornings with frost on the ground means it's officially tights season. Running tights are usually my least favorite gear - they're often hard to get on/off, constricting, and have poor storage options. Thankfully these tights have been a delight, and likely are my new favorites. Most important to me when running in tights is to barely notice that I'm wearing them. I want warm legs and want to feel unimpeded. I've done easy recovery runs, long runs and speed work in these and I barely notice them because there are just no issues. No chafing, weird squeaking, zippers jingling, see-through areas, resistance to my stride, etc. Legs stay warm and they're out of mind. Beyond the essentials, I love the storage options. Both pockets are low profile so you don't look like a pack mule when you have a phone or some gels on you, and they're on either side of you so you really don't feel what you're carrying through your stride. The only thing I'd highlight for a purchase decision: there aren't a ton of reflective strips on these. If you're running alone on roads in the dark, these might not be optimal for you. There are a couple of reflective areas (around the pockets and the logo), but if a car is approaching you from behind, don't expect your tights to be lighting up. Not an issue for me as I usually run with lights and additional reflective elements, but it's worth highlighting. I prefer my tights to be subdued and lowkey, which these are. Love 'em!

Living in the north east, it?s tough to find a solid, comfortable pair of running tights that even wash nicely. These tights felt like second skin and I never even had to think about cutting my run short because of chafing or riding up, slipping down. They would also be a good addition to my ski gear in a few months and I will make sure to take them with me. Versatile pair of tights!

Let me start by saying that these are my new favorite leggings. They are warm, but not too thick. They don't make me sweat. They hold me in very well and provide the perfect amount of compression. I highly recommend! Great for everyday wear and for workouts.

They fit well and keep my legs appropriately warm in the winter. I normally use on 20-40 degree F morning runs.

These tights are warm yet breathable on my cold morning runs. The cell phone pocket is a major plus. Holding onto a cell phone is cold weather increases Hand heat loss. These tights are in my winter rotation and are always a treat.

When I received this item, it immediately felt like less material as compared with my earlier version of the same. Turns out, this item weighed around 215g, when my old one weighed 260g. Thats nearly 20% less material (same size). For running in the frigid cold like I do, this one is being returned. I love Brooks, so this was a major disappointment for the price.

These tights are warm, have a soft feel and are true to size. Great for getting back to running in the cold here in Colorado.

Warm enough for below freezing wether. Comfortable. Phone pocket is tight. May be to small for anything bigger than IPhone 11.

These are amazing and if Brooks ever discontinues this line, I'm going to riot. These thermal tights have proved to be well worth the money. They not only keep me warm in the below-freezing temperatures but they fit perfectly. I have a few other thermal tights from other companies, but none feel, fit, or perform as great as these ones. A must buy in my opinion if you run in cold environments.

Seams are weak and will fail if you are not extremely careful about not stretching waist while putting on and taking off. Otherwise nice and cozy comfy warm. Also would be better if the front seam was replaced with two in order to fit male parts more comfortably.

They slid off the waist a little as you run, pull the tie string tight!
