This is my 9th pair of Merrells and each new pair I get always seem to wow me. The comfort is awe inspiring. The design is rugged and sleek. The traction is always on point. And they are very light weight. I'm not sure about the insulation just yet because it hasn't been terribly cold. However I wore them on a 45f day and my feet were hot so I'm on a ledge here and thinking they'll be just fine. As always I will highly recommend Merrells to anyone interested in a quality pair of footwear

These boots are sooo comfortable. I hike with my wife and 4 dogs and they are fantastic! The fit is perfect! I also work in the HVAC field and climbing ladders or in crawl spaces they are perfect

I'm usually a timberland hiking boot guy. Decided to give these a try. Very happy I did. Light, warm and sturdy. Wearing them about 1 month now and love them. Fits true to size.

Really comfortable from the moment of lace up. We hit a hard trail with brush, rocks hidden under leaves and a creek. Great grip over all. While crossing the creek, lost balance and stepped straight in the water. My foot stayed dry! No break in time either. Laces stayed tied. Love the construction and the look is really cool. Hope they hold up as the seasons change through spring.

These shoes are good at keeping your feet dry in all weather I've worn them in rain sleet and snow and have come home with my feet dry and warm.

Comfortable.... Work and play ... I thought I ordered more!!! Went back and my shopping list didn't make it!! Now I have to go shopping again!!

I work in delivery. I have to say these boots are A-1. Going up & down on the truck ramp these boots have great traction. I will be buying more.

warm and really comfortable. Did not need any break in period, and I love to wear them working around the house. I like the extra ankle support.

I've had these out on the trails several times already this autumn, and they are extremely comfortable, light weight, and warm. I'm looking forward to putting them to the real test this upcoming winter (I'm in Michigan). My only complaint is that I have several pairs of Merrell's and the sizing always is a little different. I typically wear a 9.5 medium width, and of the four pairs I've bought in the past two years, I've had to exchange two of them for 10s

Bought these boots as my other name brand boots are slippery especially on ice. Of course the first thing you will notice is how light and comfortable they are. Went to the mountains for a hike for a late fall hike. Had my other hikers on (not Merrell) and went to change into my new Moab's. Got out of the car and was sliding around on the icy trail head parking lot as I got my new boots out of the trunk. I felt very unstable and it was plain dangerous. Got my new Moabs on and was absolutely amazed at the traction and stability on the melting ice! They were superb on the slippery ice, "Vibram Icetrek outsole" is very good. Went for a beautiful hike and the boots were light, comfortable and warm.

Short review: Exceedingly happy. Will absolutely buy again. In detail: I bought because I read an article that said these were the highest rated hiking boots for non-slip in cold / ice. Fit is accurate (I wear a 12.D and my 12's are perfect). I was able to swap the insole out with my orthotics with amble room. These are the most comfortable footwear I have ever worn. Like insanely comfortable, and with great cushion. They are very comfortable to walk around in the city, while traveling (e.g,. treading through an airport), as they are on a mountain trail. Just excellent.

Very solid boot, I have only worn about town, haven't taken to trails... YET..! Looks and feels great, happy so far

Very lightweight and flexible with amazing grip.. also was warm enough for 32 degree weather..

I would like to see more availability of wide models, and see more of them because of moving trend of anatomic footwear.

These are so light that you almost don't feel you are weating shoes and these are winter boots!! Really warm and tough Ideal for any terrain.

I am so pleased with these hiking boots! The fit is perfect, the insoles are cushioned enough where I don't have to add anything. These are definitely waterproof because I hike through some slushy snow last week and my feet were completely dry. The souls and the grip are fantastic! Overall comfort is a 10 out of 10!

I bought a pair of the black color last year, & these boots are hands down my favorite pair of boots that I've ever purchased in my 46 years on this earth. They are light weight & the most comfortable of any pair of boots that I have ever owned. EASY 5 Star review from this happy customer. I'm buying my 2nd pair today

Absolutely love them. So comfortable! Used some waterproof spray to maximize the waterproofing and my feet have never been wet once and I wash cars all day

Excellent for hiking with excellent stability but careful with solid ice, no grip. In trails with rocky terrain, best in gripping. Insulation is superb.
