So comfortable! Soft but with good energy return and fantastic grip with that vibram outsole!

Very good shoe that is comfortable on long hikes and around town. They are well made and seem like they will hold up well over the long term.

These are great all activity shoes! I've put miles on them walking, hiking, and working. They are surprisingly comfortable after a short break-in period. The Vibram soles have held up really well and I'm going to get great life out of these shoes!

Great shoes, excellent for long trail runs, a little wide in the toebox but that is good for me I have a wide foot but no much and that let me spread my toes when i need en all terrain roads, the best trail shoes that I ve have. Good construction, style and the colors are amazing

Second pair so I knew what to expect. Order a half size down. Town area is large. Only downside is colour is slightly different from pictures.

I have several different Merrell shoes and these fit smaller than the others, size up one half size. Other than that they have good cushioning and the flex is firm enough that I have no issues on rocky terrain. Contrary to what others have mentioned I don't have an issue with sidewalks or pavement, but did notice the rigid sole on flat surfaces when I first got them and would not use them for a day at Disneyland as an example. Mainly use them for trails which is what they seem meant for.

Ordered men's 9.5 medium width for female size 11. Black. Fits perfect. If you have a narrow foot, this can be tied up enough to work. It's hard to find a black shoe with a black sole which is why I purchased. Bought just for walking because I walk a lot and for working out. They are super light weight and breathable and have a great "grippy" sole with great traction for my workouts. The statement "fits like a glove" is true - making it a little harder to get into than most shoes. You really need to untie and loosen a lot to get your foot in - but once in - feels great and super stable with a good toe box for lots of movement but no crimping and not loose anywhere. The midsole is way too "squishy/pillowy" for my liking. I inserted an insole from an old pair of Merrell Alverstones - which made the walk almost perfect. Super comfortable shoe overall. Most comfortable shoe ever other than my Merrell hiking boots. My feet are happy in them which I can't say about any other athletic shoe. I'd give this a 5 if it had a stack height and heel to toe drop and heel crash pad - which is just my preference in shoes. Just as good as, and, in my opinion, better than that other popular "H" brand.

Comfortable, supportive shoe. I got the blue/orange pair, love the colour combo, very vibrant. Fit is true to size ordered. I walk a lot so hoping the quality of the shoe will take me through to the fall. I take a women's size 8, these were the men's smallest size 7. A 6.5 in men's would have been a snugger fit had they offered that size but the size 7 works well and allows for a slightly thicker sock. The blue/orange was men's specific & too appealing to the eye to give up for the colours available in the women's equivalent.

Super comfy and durable trail runners. I trail run 10-20 miles a week average in these and also use them to summit 13ers with up to class 4 climbing. Even after a 14 mile, 10 hour day with 7000+ ft of elevation gain I don't even notice that I'm wearing these, they are just so comfortable. The upper is nice as it's not mesh like many trail runners, so it holds up to the sharp talus fields I'll traverse. The upper doesn't absorb water and is pretty water resistant which was a nice bonus, and it dries pretty quickly all things considered. Super cool colors available(bring back Exuberance!) and the fit is perfect for my feet. I hope Merrell keeps making these for awhile as they really fit the niche I need and I can't think of many improvements. I own 2 pairs and will def buy more when needed. It's a winner!

Fit was good and the outsole very good. Forefoot pain significant with the same insoles I use for other trail runners. Too hard a landing plate/rock plate. Limits utility in most trail situations.

Solid build as usual but not a huge fan of the material chosen. Seems a bit thin and does not feel as sturdy as some of the others I have. Will see how it does over time.

The upper of this shoe is in my opinion the best available out of any trail runner. The lacing system really grips and wraps your feet for a really secure hold on up and down terrain. The lower however is not as stable. If they could put the lower of the Altra Olympus 4 with the upper of this shoe, you'd have the perfect trail runner.

Love the deep heel and the soft sole, good traction. I dislike the integral tongue - such a pain to get the shoes on and off.

just know that there are no laces so the fit needs to be perfect. They do run tight and I ordered 1/2 size larger but still tight. They also slip on the heel. They are a very nice shoe but just doesn't fit my foot well. There are a Merrell so construction and materials are very nice
