I wish I could give a more thourough review. Unfortunately, the largest size offered was a smidgen too short. I decided to give it a try based on the Euro to USA size cross referencing, however, it came up just short. Wish Bean would offer one size up more if the manufacturer offers it and I think they do. Based on my limited feel and observation I will say that they very nice shoes with high quality wool felt. Should be very warm, too.

My husband has had a very hard time finding slippers that are comfortable, warm, and have a sole that grips (but not too much). These are perfect for him. The best!!!

Overall very comfortable and I like the style. I need a semi-wide toe box and these were perfect. The problem I have is that my heels are not so wide and the slippers just slipped off my heels. So sorry that these had to go back.

Love my leather soled Glerups, but the roundness of the rubber sole on these didn’t work for me.

VERY THICK wool clog. However, the sole was kind of narrow, making the shoe feel tippy/unbalanced. I wanted wool shoe to wear in icy snowy slippery conditions, so these seemed like a bad idea for that.

These are very comfortable slippers. The quality appears to match the price.

I am used to Birkenstock European sizing where I wear a 41. Here to wear with heavy socks I wear a 43 for warmth. To wear them around the house without socks they are very loose, but ok for just walking around. Wool is great. Synthetics tend to make my feet sweat.

High quality as expected. Very comfortable, but could use some additional arch support.

I recommend them highly for WARMTH and DURABILITY. However, the sizing is somewhat difficult. I wear size 6 but one foot is a tad bigger (6 1/4). Five years ago, I gave my daughter size 6 slippers for her 5 1/2 size foot. She loved them, but they were more comfortable with added inner soles. She wore holes through them and they stretched quite a lot, which is when I started wearing them whenever I visited. They are wonderfully WARM and comfortable, but it is clear that they expand. I got size 6 as well because I knew that they would be snug at first but stretch to fit better. At first, I worried that the size 6 was too small. After two weeks, they fit beautifully. I don't think that they will stretch much more but they might and then I will add inner soles. I also gave my husband a pair five years ago and his feet slide all over because they slide, but he loves them. He also added inner soles almost immediately. Mine have the OUTDOOR soles which I really like. I wear them all day long indoors.

Watch for premature wear of the felt around the toes The first pair I had were a dream they felt great they were convenient and I like everything about them but by four months the woman felt had separated on both shoes right at the area of the toes totally unacceptable for a four-month-old slipper that cost 140 bucks so I called L.L. Bean and true to their word they replaced the slipper with no cost at this point I've got about two weeks where on the new slippers and we will see if these hold up better I will chalk it up to a lemon and that is a one off occurrence if these were out the same way in three or four months I guess I will drop the review reading down to a one or two but so far so good the fit is great they look good they feel good

I listened to an outside review and I measured my foot on a piece of paper. That indicated I need a 44 when I knew that would be too big as a ladie's 12 is always big enough as I wear an 11.5 or a 42 or 43. So I went with the 43 and it was huge. Too wide, too long. Order your usual size. For example, if you wear Dansko, use that usual size. I ordered the red and it is a cherry red, with a lot of pink in it, like a mulberry. I would have liked a bright apple red but not this red. If they had black I would get it in a 42. The 43 would fit with thick wool socks and be very warm indeed but with that color I still have to return them.

Interesting slipper. Initially I was wary of the looser fit (my last pair of slippers were shearling-lined and tighter fitting). They are comfortable with bare feet, perhaps not as warm as I expected. I find them a better fit and much warmer with socks. Overall I'm happy with the slipper, especially as I adjust to it.

The rubber soles aren't quite as comfy as soft bottoms but I knew they would get some outdoor exposure. Warm the minute I put them on. Hate to take them off.

Slipper is true to the size i ordered, but is a bit too wide. So, I chose to wear wool socks in order to keep them on. Still fear they will stretch.

My main issue is that the sole of the shoe is not flat . It’s very rolls from side to side. Felt insecure walking . Otherwise a beautiful shoe, the wool felt is beautiful and thick.

These slippers felt clumsy at first but loved the rubber sole and its durability, but the upper did became very comfortable over time. Unfortunately time and usage showed its weakness in that the outside at the little toe became torn and mending wool obviously didn't work. Not impressed after a few years of ware for this price.

I am an older person (74) with a daily walking routine and lots of activity. The bottom of my feet have become sensitive in the metatarcial area. The Glerups provide little padding. My forefoot and heel needed more comfortable support.

I wanted to love these. I'm a US size 9. I first ordered size 40. When I tried them on, they fit like a dream and felt wonderful. The problem came when I tried to walk. There is a lip at the back of this slipper clog that rubs against the heel with each step. I tried to modify my walk so that the lip wouldn't rub. That didn't work. I returned the size 40. I reordered and got a size 41. This time, the lip at the back heel still rubbed though not as much as before. Additionally, it didn't fit as well or as comfortably as the size 40. I returned the slippers for the second time. If only that back heel lip weren't there, this would be a perfect shoe. I wish this were more like a true open back clog. I loved everything else about this shoe except for this one fatal flaw, the irritating back lip. That being said, it's a beautiful shoe, it's well made, and the traction is excellent. If Glerup decides to make an open back clog without that lip, I will buy a pair in size 40. Maybe this isn't an issue for other people, I simply couldn't adjust my gait to accommodate the back heel lip.
