I bought these on Thanksgiving weekend as an early Christmas present for my husband. The 44 was a bit too big for his size 9 feet, but these have been entirely out of stock since I bought them, so getting him a 43 hasn't been an option. (I tried replacing them with a 43 in another style of Glerups that have an awesome rubber outsole. He tried them for about a month, but he didn't like the rounded shape of the sole and the tall back of the slipper.) Now a month after Christmas, a 43 is still entirely out of stock, so my husband decided he'd rather keep and use the original pair I'm reviewing here. He's making do with the slightly too-big size, although he also thinks the height of the slipper opening prevents him from getting his foot in far enough to keep them from feeling floppy when he walks. However, they're very comfortable on his feet and we're hoping the opening size may break in a little with some wear. He loves this slide-on style, and was happy to get back to these after trying the other style of Glerups.

These slippers were great the minute I put them on. My only complaint would be in the description as an "open heel" shoe. My idea of "open heel" would be like a mule - no fabric at all behind your heel. These slippers have a small piece of fabric (about 1/2 inch high) behind the heel- it doesn't bother me, but I wasn't expecting it. Still, a great slipper.

Love these. They are warm and comfortable. If you need more support I would suggest something with a little more structure and a hard sole. They are like moccasins. They are great to throw into a travel bag or when visiting others.

Very nice slippers. They are warm and easy to slide into. They don't have much support and the sole conforms to your foot; a little like being barefoot.

I own many slippers including LL Bean's Elk (also very nice), but these are my favourite. - Exceedingly light - Warm but they breathe well - Felt is rugged - they will last

Excellent fit, light as a feather. They are warm but they breathe so they aren't hot. These are superb!

I did not intend to spend this much on slippers, but after reading a few reviews for several different brands, I decided to splurge. They really are extremely soft and comfortable. They are very warm, but not hot, and I will probably wear them three seasons. I like that they cover the entire top of your foot. There is a lip around the back of the heel, so your feet cannot slide out once you put them on. I highly recommend these slippers.

I bought this for my boyfriend whose feet get hot easily. He didn't want the men's version of my sheepskin moccasins from L.L. Bean (which are also AMAZING) since they are too warm for him, so we found these glerups which are PERFECT, especially with the open heel. They are wool so they are warm yet also wick so it doesn't get too sweaty. He LOVES them and wears them everyday. They were a bit snug compared to his regular shoe size, though I'm sure the will fit better over time with more wear, like my moccasins which shape to my feet. Thank you L.L. Bean for another amazing product!!!

I wear a 5 1/2 shoe and per LLBean guidance sized up to a 6. The slippers were gigantic on me. I'd recommend sizing down. I ended up purchasing a size 5 on another site only because LLBean doesn't carry size 5. The size 5 fits perfect - still a bit loose, which is what I'd expect for a slipper, but not too much. I love everything about these slippers - they are soft, perfect warmth - not too hot, not too cold - and easy to slip on/off, but still have enough structure that they're not flopping off your feet when you go up stairs.

This is my second pair of Glerups slippers, and I'm getting ready to buy a third. Honestly, these are the best slippers I have ever worn. The felted wool is so light, so soft, and so incredibly comfortable. I wear these slippers year-round, as they keep my feet warm in the winter and cool in the summer. I envision these slippers lasting for a decade or more, and it's only my desire to have several colors that led me to purchase multiples. Love!

I ordered 2 pair of these slippers for my daughters for Christmas. I tried them on and now I want a pair also! They are all natural---all wool uppers and leather soles. And the fact that they are from sheep that are treated humanely, makes them even more desirable. They are beautiful and warm. I believe that they will last a long time,so they were a good investment.

These slippers are The Best! I got them a couple of weeks ago, and have been living in them and I'm sure I will continue to live in them all winter here in Massachusetts. The size 40 fits my size 9 foot just right. Big enough to slip on reasonably easily, but not too loose once they're on. They keep my feet just the right warmth, not too hot, never sweaty. N.B. they're not made for outdoor use. That is admittedly a tradeoff when you want to run outside to pick up the newspaper, but it does result in a super comfortable slipper.

I have been on the hunt for the perfect slipper for 30 years and I finally found it. This is it! The wool keeps your feet the perfect temperature; not too hot or too cool. The leather soles are non-slip for indoors (I wouldn't wear them outside). But best of all, there's no synthetic material to make your feet overly hot, sweaty or stinky. Just pure comfort.

There is no arch support so I inserted my own orthotics. Much better fit and comfort now.

I was looking for a slipper with leather soles since they appear to becoming extinct. I liked these except for two things: they are not as warm as sheepskin slippers, and my feeling is that one cannot just slip into them as one would normally with a clog. I used my fingers to help. It is possible that the top of the back could get damaged easily from not doing so. I could be wrong. I'll never know because I returned them because my left small toe was getting rubbed and a little sore.

Soft wool, not itchy, takes a couple of wearings to conform to your feet.

Size 10 men's is not equivalent to size 12 women's. I gave them to my daughter, who wears a size 11, and they fit her well.

I like the slipper but the fit is somewhat problematic (perhaps a size too big as it tends to slide off on occasion). The hassle of returning to LL Bean and paying a shipping charge as well did not appeal to me.
