Disappointed! I had an older pair of ice maidens that I absolutely loved. They were slightly taller and had some fuzz on the top. These were shorter and without the fuzzy top they appeared gaping wide at the opening when put on. They look awkward with pants because they are too short to wear over top and too wide at the opening to wear underneath. The right boot was tighter than the left and I will be returning my pair. My previous pair lasted forever and were my favorite winter boot, finally after a decade they fell apart. Was hoping to replace them with these.....but the design change most definitely does not work for me.

Waterproof and keeps my feet warm! I wish the traction/grip on these shoes were a little better. I live in AK and i have slipped a few times when it snowed with these on.

I've been wearing these non-stop since they arrived, which was just in time for a major snow storm. They have kept my feet warm and dry and I have felt very safe on icy walkways. I am very pleased with this purchase!

Living in the midwest means ice and snow on the winter. I broke my tibia, fibula and shatteted my ankle so snow and ice are my biggest fear. The Ice Maiden boots are wonderful and I feel safe walking in them.

This is an update to my previous review for the size 6.5. I wasn't 100% sure if the 6.5 were too snug since they fit perfectly. I recently ordered a size 7 to be sure & the 7 was too big even with the thickest sock. My foot felt like it was moving around in the boot. Kept the 6.50 & returned the 7. I am a true 6.50 & my first review is correct. True to size. If you prefer them to be loose, then order a half size up.

The shoes were a little narrow, but I wore them around the house a few days and now they are fine. I love the warmth and the solid tread on the bottom. Can't wait for cold weather!

Feels true to size. I am a 6.50 M & ordered 6.50 M & 6 M & returned the 6 without trying on because 6.50 was perfect. If you wear really thick socks, then you should order up a half size. I have a very skinny foot & one boot my foot slips right in & the other boot I had to hold the back of the boot to insert my foot. I tried to find the following information on website & couldn't & that is; the footbed insert is removable & you can replace with orthotics. When I did this, the boot feels roomier. I need the orthotic because the boot has no arch support. They are very warm but have not warn them outside yet. Will follow up on that when I do. They are nice looking, well made with suede & quilted back. They do not collapse & stand up on their own. Hope this is helpful.

I've worn these non-stop since they arrived, which was just in time for a huge snow storm. They have kept my feet warm and dry, they are very comfortable, and I have not slipped on the ice at all. I feel very safe walking through my slick parking lot at work. They are great winter boots!

Comfortable right off the bat. Boot has a firm structure, especially side to side. I usually wear a 7.5 but ordred an 8 in order to wear thick socks. Fit perfectly. I will use these this spring for working around my horse. Need something light, higher than Ariats, and waterproof. They are high enough to prevent stall shavings from sticking to my socks.

I ordered a 10 which is larger than my usual 9 or 9.5. I have a high instep and allowed for heavy socks. I am very pleased with these. They are comfy and have a generous toe box to help keep my feet warm during Wisconsin winters.

I ordered a half a size bigger to behind with for myself and my daughters. We had to send all three bigger pair back and get our normal size. Still plenty of room for warm thick socks and no problems slipping on and off

It's snowing here ... a lot... in Utah. I am from El Paso, and I am not really a snow person. These boots are warm, easy to get on my feet, and have kept me from slipping. This will be my "go to" boot.

I bought these so I could take the dogs out for a walk in the snow/wet rainy days. I hate cold, wet feet! I am a size 8 and these fit fine with thin socks. If I bought them again I would go a 1/2 size larger so I could wear heavier socks or add some type of foam insole to make them a little more cushiony. They are cute with skinny jeans/leggings so I like the style, just feel they could be a little roomier and have more of a cushion.

These boots were the cutest and I'm really upset they didn't work out. As far as slipping them on, they slipped on very easy. The heel fit well. The problem is with the area across the toes. From the bottom of my little toe all the way across it was so stiff you could not hardly walk and the pain even sitting was there. They are made extremely tight through this area. A "wide" width would have solved this but only the narrow version is available. Unfortunately cute or not they have to go back. If you wear a wide usually don't but these and think it will be okay. Most likely it will not be as was in my case.

Unfortunately, these felt like knockoffs--almost like cardboard-filled boots. If I wore these outside, my ankles would freeze and snow would fall directly into them. There was a huge gap from the front of my leg to the outer, front edge of the boot. These are going back.

I saw the reviews saying that the boots are a bit tight and suggest that I should size up. I normally wear size 8.5, and bought these in size 9. The design is weird so it's just right at the front, but loose at the back.

The right foot felt shorter than left foot. I ordered the ten's and was walking out of them, so ordered the half side smaller. Going to keep the tens and add some heel grippers make them work better. Would rather have a little big than too tight. Going to Germany Christmas markets and want warm and comfortable and stylish.
