The sole (soul) is butter! I discovered this brand in desperation for a comfortable flat sandal still with an interesting style, as I am truly a platform/heels Gal. Usually money no object. I am a F.A. Purist Photographer in Women's Studies Domestic and Abroad. A Creator. A Student of Architecture and the Art of Humans. My life had consisted of much travel, packing/moving my Home of 16yrs (which I Loved by the way), so I needed to baby & spoil myself. If you've ever lived thru a major move you know what I speak of. I, also, took the chance because of brand's name, I speak Francais. I am a true 6.5. As the minute I slipped my foot into the bed I knew.... I am now completely a Des Pieds Girl. The adjust top, thou velcro, is styled perfect, after 6 months it has not curled up, has kept it's form. The leather did feel slightly stiff at first~ but a good leather shoe IS suppose to do this to fit YOUR shape of foot. I am somewhat flat foot, but conform to arch support, this does have. It bends well with walking; i.e. I wore them all day at a Renn Faire w/uneven ground; choosing to wear these verses my "normal garb" shoes, I am thankful I did, (w/many compliments). So I have purchased 3 more pairs of different styles as I look forward to my next adventures: Greece!

Amazingly comfortable and exactly what I was looking for. Except, I have to return these because my foot is so narrow and although these are adjustable it just doesn't look so good adjusting them to be more narrow and for the price I do want them to look good too.

THe shoe is so comfy, but just a bit wide compared to the other L’Amour Des Pieds I have purchased in the past. I haven’t decided if I will keep them or return yet.

These are the most comfortable sandals that I have. They arrived yesterday morning and I have worn them for 2 days now - not one blister! The width is adjustable since there is a Velcro seam at the side seam. The bed of the shoe is soft leather. Wish they came in other bright colors. These will be so good to wear for winter pedicures.

RUN a little bit narrow

I wanted to love these. The leather is beautiful and they look good on me, but I have a really low arch and instead of supporting it, the built in arch jabbed into my instep. I imagine the built in arch would be very supportive, it was just in the wrong place for my feet.

I'm new to this brand, and OMG! Right out of the box, these little babies are a dream. Light, cushy, buttery soft leather and SO comfortable to walk in. Not to mention absolutely GORGEOUS! These stay on the feet when walking and don't make any noise at all. I AM ABOUT TO PURCHASE ANOTHER PAIR OR TWO ASAP. I am an 8.5 and got 9, which fit perfectly. I also have a high arch and find these super supportive. Of course, because of the adjustable velcro around the foot, they will accommodate anybody's feet. I got the silver, so pretty, and will go with everything and anything. These beauties are a real winner. Sleek, elegant (not clumsy or clunky at all) and they move with you at every step with the way the sole design is cut up. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!! ??

Leather is high quality and the Velcro allows you to customize the fit. I would have kept them, but the arch support hit me just a little bit off, so I think it would have bothered me after a couple of hours of standing. I’m sure they would wear well and last a long time.

A wonderful luxurious shoe. Never have bought this brand before but I was totally delighted with the luxury feel of these shoes. I have to wear a backless shoe because of plantar fasciitis and these look dressy enough for travel and going out for dinner. I am very very happy with the shoes. Luxury leather and very comfortabl

These are beautiful shoes, very nicely made. The right shoe fit perfectly. The left shoe however was significantly uncomfortable.

Runs long. I ordered my usual 7.5 and they were too long, though I do have short toes, but they felt sloppy and even though they can be adjusted somewhat, the arch didn’t seem to be in the right spot. I’ll have to re-order smaller to see. I did like the look of them and they’re very nicely made.

loved the velcro closure and comfy sole but the top hit me in a bad spot on the top of my foot.

For me, the fit was off. Had to tighten the velcro, and then the flaps were too obvious. Strap was not very comfortable...Did not work for me. The foot bed was very comfortable, however.

These have good cushion. However they run a bit large and make a slapping noise when I walk. Just not the right fit on my foot and I returned them. I think someone with a bit fuller foot might be happy with them.

High quality sandal. Nice leather inside and out, nothing synthetic except the bottom sole. Adjustable w/ velcro type stuff makes them fit well as they get broken in. Highly recommend.

Because of my high arches (from Ballet) and one injury on my left foot (also from Ballet) I almost always wear Mephisto Helen sandals - and thus, am often on the lookout for some other pretty alternative that feels so sturdy and comfy that I'm not even aware of having shoes on. Well, this is it! These L'Amour Des Pieds are fantastic. I got the silver, which is surprisingly soft, footbed very cushy and the whole shoe is a class act while also feeling secure on my feet while walking. They don't hurt my bunion and also give support for my high arches. A little more expensive than my Mephisto Helen's and WORTH EVERY PENNY. Thinking to also get the black suede version. So elegant, so comfortable. The perfect slide!!! L'Amour Des Pieds, you ROCK!!!

These feel great and are super comfy.

I love these shoes. Such good quality. I have narrow feet and being adjustable is so nice! I have two pair now. They dress up or casual.

Super comfy, fine leather everywhere except the sole. Feels great on bare feet. True to size and adjustable width.

Silver in a stylish way is hard to find. These really fit the bill. Love the way they make me feel whenever I put them on!

Fabulous slide and very comfortable. My normal size is 8 and it fit perfectly. Had to exchange the 8 1/2, too big.

the leather is dreamy and fit amazing, but just a tad short. It was a tough decision to send these back. I may order again...
