I have taken these shoes on one strenuous hike and one trail run so far and I love them. The rock plate is a huge help. These feel so good on the trails and I cannot wait to take them out again. I also love the colors, so fun! I got several complements along the trail.

These are my first Brooks pair of running shoes and I absolutely love them! It took a bit to get use to them but I really I'm glad I purchased these!

I absolutely love this shoe. I started running trails after years of running roads. These shoes help with stability and have great grip. I bought the bright pink. I just ordered my second pair so I can rotate.

A little stiff to begin, but quickly loosened up. Perfect for trail runs or walks. Glad I added it to my rotation.

My new favorite Brooks sneakers for fall/winter running. I got the bright pink color and they are dazzling. I am very new to running after miles and miles and miles of walking, fast walking, slight jogging, etc. I do better with two pairs of sneakers so I can rotate daily and these Cascadia 16's were my second pair of Brooks.

These shoes are fantastic! Great ride, amazing support, good quality. The fabric is thick and provides added comfort in the upper and ankle region. Nice overall design and coloring. I have a hard heel strike and my hip/pelvis tilt is exaggerated causing me to strike my sneaks as a I run from time to time. I've had multiple shoes in a variety of brands bust from the impact in the first week. So far these have withstood. I've run both trail and road with these. Currently rotating with two other brooks sneakers so I haven't logged a ton of mileage yet, but anticipate the quality lasting.

I use the Ariel for my everyday footwear, but I was in search of a suitable option for trail shoes. These have proven to be an excellent choice for hiking the trails in Maine, offering remarkable comfort. I highly recommend them!

Excellent choice for folks with bunions these shoes provide stability, wide toe bed and nubs for extra traction with rain, ice and snow.

I have run four 50k trail races in the Cascadia. It's my one and only for trail running. No blisters. No pain. Just a great shoe for any day and any weather on the trails. I've raced in heavy rains and mud and the Cascadia kept me going. Handles roots, streams and rough terrain but also provides comfort when transitioning to the road for periods of time on runs or in races.

I have worn Brooks shoes before for running, but needed a trail shoe for hiking. This shoe is much firmer and stiffer and more solid than my running shoes, which is exactly what you want in a trail/hiking shoe. I have worn these on a couple of short hikes to begin to break them in, and they are comfortable and I think will be sturdy and give me traction on trails. I always size up half a size in my running shoes to accommodate socks and swelling feet, and I did the same with these shoes and it seems to be ideal for me, so I would say they run true to size.

Soo light, flexible. The lower tongue gives better movement, less chafe on top of the foot. The toe end design allows for a much better toe grip as you walk or run. Love these shoes!
