Haven't taken these out on a trail yet, but they're very comfortable. They do run a little small, but thanks to the generous return policy I was able to switch sizes after about 2 weeks.

Comfortable, good fit. They felt very stiff at first but give solid footing. I love the bright colors!

I'm a nurse who works 12 hr shifts so a good support show is a must! Never tried the Cascadia but decided to give it a try. From the first wear I'm in love! Comfortable and supportive! And that pink color! I've had several compliments!

Great trail shoe for me! This is my second pair. I'm not a huge fan of the laces. They take a little more work to loosen and tighten back up each time. But I'm guessing that's intentional to keep things from shifting too much while running.

Good grip for trails. Toe box is plenty roomy but some narrowness just back from it- JUST in front of the laces. Hoping if I loosen laces and try again it'll work. Only felt after 4 miles so not horrible. I'll likely use these for shorter trail runs anyway.

Love this workhorse of a shoe. I have run in cascadias for many years now on rough trails in all weather and ever year just buy a new pair of cascadias. They are comfortable while feeling supportive and the traction is amazing in all conditions. There are some complaints about the weight but I like a solid foot bed that allows me to run in very rocky conditions without bruising my feet. My only complaint is the uppers do not last like they used to. I have gotten rid of the past two pairs with lots of holes in them! While there is still some tread on the bottom but the overall feel of the shoe makes it worth it. I just bought a new pair of 16s after not liking the fit of the 17s.

I bought this shoe to walk on unpaved roads. It has a great grip on the road and the toe box seems wider than previous models. It was on sale, so I bought two. I think it's very good value.

I walked all day on hard surface (concrete roads) with no pain in feet or knees. Excellent shoes

Not quite as comfy and cushiony as an old pair of Brooks shoes I have, but still good.

A little heavy. Will require break in. Gum shoe tan sole is a little weird looking. I'm hoping this will add traction for winter walks with minimal snow

I want to love this shoe but can't! First off, sooo comfy and zero blisters...which is an issue for me. However, shoe falls apart after only 10 hikes! Cannot recommend this shoe for hiking. It's just not durable enough. Brooks does have great customer service so I tried again. Same issues.

The grip is great for the gravel and dirt roads that I run on. It is responsive but still has a nice cushion to it. Unfortunately, the shoe is too narrow in the toe box for me. My foot is wide at the toes but narrow at the heel.

Really miss the Cascadia 15 (and 14 etc), felt much more cushioned and like it hugged my feet. This shoe feels stiffer, but I didn't have any issues running so all is well. This shoe aslo feels a touch bigger than the old ones, could have probably sized down a half size.

The only problem with these sneakers was the squeak! I was told it is because they are trail shoes. So I am exchanging for a running shoe. I only wear Brooks sneakers for the comfort and they hold my orthotics well.

These feel great, like my previous Cascadias, the first shoe that did not hurt my feet after a high mileage day. I did get a blister on the top of my big toe on my first long hike, right where the reinforcement is on the toe of the shoe. I hope this is just a break-in issue. I'm waiting to test the sole in wet conditions, hoping that the sole is grippier than earlier versions of the shoe. I will also say that I purposely purchased the 16 over the 17 because the reviews say the 17 is narrower.

This is my second pair. I like this trail runner. The treads on my last pair were still intact after several hundred miles on the trail. But, the mesh in the side started to break down.

I had to return these because the top of this style shoe was too tight. I've had foot surgery and the way the very narrow tongue of this shoe is pulled down tighter than the glycerin gts and ghost styles hits the staple on the top of my foot wrong. If it weren't for that I would have loved them. It's very hard to find wide trail shoes, these were both wide and comfortable.

I like these shoes quite a bit. I walked the Watkins Glen State Park (lots of puddles near the gorge) and while I did avoid water my feet stayed dry while my companions all had wet shoes. I do get a slight bit of rubbing where the crease is next to the ball of my pinky toe - but I did not get a blister yet. And there are are strange folds on the top of the shoe when I walk but other than that, the shoe is solid.

It continues with the Brooks quality I've come to know. Only difference is that these run much larger than my previous pair - I exchanged for a whole size down from my usual brooks size.
