The toe box was not as wide as the Brooks Ghost 14 and was therefore not as comfortable

I've been wearing Brooks Adrenaline for several years, so I was so disappointed when I tried these on & they instantly dug into my ankles. Other than that, they fir great. I was sad to return, but lesson learned. The GTS fits differently than the regular Adrenalines. And unfortunately Zappos doesn't differentiate the two.

At first, I loved my new Adrenaline GTS 22 but then I felt like something was rubbing my upper foot. I thought it might be something in my sock but then I discovered the seam on the right shoe tongue was slightly "pointy" making it feel like I had a tiny pebble in my shoe. Overall this Adrenaline is not as comfy as my older version, it seems more rigid. I will return and replace it with another pair. I hope the seam is better finished.

Sz 7.5 B (med) fits very well for sz7 feet w a mild bunion. Comfortable. Our rating dropped two stars (to 3) because the shoelaces with which they came (44-45 in) were so short that we could not tie the shoes. Re-lacing and leaving out two rows of eyelets mostly fixed that problem, but the shoes do not feel quite as secure with two rows not used. Offputting! I am on the fence with these shoes. I ordered an 11W. I used to wear a 10.5, but shoe sizes seem to be shrinking. These had good reviews that is why I decided to try them. However, it seems the arch support, what little there is, is located in the wrong area. I can feel my arches on my feet are stressed. The arch seems to sit at the side of the shoe and nothing for where the actual arch is on a foot. I have found this to be true in many shoes now. It must be cheaper for the company have a flat sole and to put the arch support at the side of the shoe. I had a pair of Brooks Ariel 9 once. They were the best shoes ever. They were the most comfortable running shoes that I have ever owned and had appropriate arch support. Unfortunately they are now too small and I donated them. I remember how that shoe just sucked my heel right into place and held it there. They definitely locked my heel in. These shoes don’t have that. For the price of shoes these days I expect to get what I am being told I am paying for. This brand and style are being portrayed as shoes for those who over pronate and as a stability shoe. Over pronation requires appropriate arch support. These shoes have very little to no arch support and just don’t have what little arch support there is in the wrong spot. As far as comfort, these are what I consider comfortable. The soles are not hard and clunky and I can feel the support and I can actually wear a sock. I hate not wearing stockings with shoes. After having the shoes on for a few minutes it feels like my heels and the bottom of my feet feel numb/tingly. Not sure what that means but I know shoes shouldn’t make your feet feel that way. I shouldn’t have to spend $140 on a pair of shoes and then have to spend another $50 on inserts that have arch support or $300 for a pair of custom orthotics because shoe makers can’t seem to figure out the shape of real peoples feet.

Nice looking but did not feel like the GTS21 for comfort and fit . Shoe strings TOO short. Sent back.

I have had a pair of Brooks Ghost 10 for many years and I love them. They have, however, been relegated to my around the house shoes, so I finally bought a new pair for wearing outside the house. I love everything about them and highly recommend. Order 1/2 size up. They breath well, flex wonderfully, don't require breaking in, are beautiful, and function not just for running, but for cross-training and style. I originally bought Brooks because they are vegan. This is my second pair, and I am very happy with my purchase.

I have multiple pairs of Adrenaline. I like them over other Brooks because they seem to have a wider toebox and my feet don't feel crowded. I'm only a 130 pound woman. I just like a little room to wiggle my toes around. I agree with other comments though about the shoe laces. Brooks please bring back the old laces. In the photo, the pink laces are the best. These are four years old. The gray laces are the new pair I got today. Prefer the older laces.

Everything about these shoes is fine except the extremely short laces that were in the shoes- aggravating laces will not stay tied because they are way too short for these expensive shoes !

Stylish comfortable I wear a 7.5 in most shoes I for a 8 and they fit perfect. I wear thin socks if u wear super thick socks maybe go up half size more . . At first the arch in the shoe bothered me but it finally felt like it molded to my arch. These are definitely for us with a higher arch.

9W has been my shoe in Brooks for years. Love the cushion and the fit. My foot has not changed, but your shoes keep changing. Wide sizes used to be available in several colors. Not anymore. Then Ghost 14 seemed to be narrow in the toe box , so I changed to Adrenaline. Now the Adrenaline 22 seems to be cut narrower too. My old Brooks still fit, but the new ones do not. If this keeps up, I'll have to give up on Brooks altogether.

The shoe fits just as if I bought ghost 14s but I do feel that there is more support because my feet ache less after walking 8 Miles... Only issue is the shoelaces come untied so I have to double knot them

These shoes were amazing for my high arches. I bought them for a trip to Washington DC since we would be doing lots of walking. We walked 7-8 miles a day for 5 days and I had no complaints of pain in my feet! I used to wear the Ghost 13 but my feet hurt constantly. The problem is after having them for one week the tread on the sole of these brand new shoes started peeling off. This is pretty frustrating considering they helped my feet but this shouldn't be an issue when you pay $148 for a pair of shoes!

Felt great first time running in them. Only issue…Shoelaces are way to short.

I thought I was going to return shoes as there was very little arch support and I needed a lot. I used another aftermarket insert and the shoes now work and I like them. A good stability shoe with a crummy thin insert is bad business.

I love the shoe but was disappointed when the soles began to peel away from the bottom of the shoe. I've never had this happen and I've worn Brooks running shoes for at least 10 years. I am a nurse and I only wear my Brooks shoes at work. I just wonder if they changed materials or if I got a pair with manufacturing defect.

For the price I paid for this shoe they shouldn't squeak when I walk in them.

This is the most comfortable shoe and my go to brand now.

I buy this in wide, (my 3rd pair). Hands down the best hiking, walking, casual work, and dance club neutral and comfy. I wear orthotics.

Brooks Adrenaline was recommended to me by a podiatrist back in 2010. I’ve bought a new pair every year since and have never had foot issues like plantar fasciitis since.
