Very strange, II taken over 17,000,000 steps in more than ten pairs of hokaa in the past 3 years. 7000 miles +.
These are the only hooks that are extremely narrow. @ miles and my dogs were barking. terrible shoe..
I'd also recommend:
none

I've had many pairs of Keens and Garmonts, all high tops and for hiking both in the AZ desert and the Montana mountains, and I've never had to "break-in" those shoes. I bought the Anacap Mid GTX Hokas because a number of friends swear by Hokas. Maybe it was just this pair, but I got blisters on my big toe, then blisters on my heel. Yes, I have excellent quality hiking socks. Tried the Hokas for five or six mountain hikes, total of around thirty miles. Unwearable for me.

The boot is comfortable but not durable. Resent two pair back for ripping apart from the sole.

I could not even get my foot into the mouth of the shoe. You discontinued the original item I bought and this was the only substitute in my size. terribly disappointed that I can no longer get the style that actually fit my foot and orthotic. I will say that the return went seamlessly.

Pictures can be deceiving. This boot was uncomfortable right out of the box.
Opening into boot was too small (size was correct) forcing me to grab the back loop and risking tearing it off. Top lace clips had very small openings forcing multiple attempts at lacing them. Heel protrusion is awkward at best. Boot does not flex as much as its thick base would suggest. Not worth the high price!

Ordered a size 12 was way too tight and felt like the shoe was bigger than a 12. Reordered an 11.5 and that shoe was smaller than the size of the shoe. With hiking boots it hit or miss

See picture. The material use is peeling out the shoes. After two months of use.

Was WAYYYYYY to narrow. I wear a size 13 wide in Hoka running/walking shoe that is maybe even slightly too wide, but this boot I could barely get my foot into, a size 13. Found the color to be a bit odd as well.

Pinches my foot behind the left big toe when the shoe is flexed. Right shoe causes pain on inside right ankle.

I used this product for work. I wanted a boot with comfort so I looked to hoka but after a couple of days the right boot was so uncomfortable to wear. The shoe string was pressed up against the top of my foot. Also the left side of the shoe started to slant because of the sole. So I will not be buying another boot from hoka and I don't recommend the boot.

Let me just say, first of all Hoka has changed my life in the most positive way. And even though this particular pair DIDNT workout, and it pains having to return them. I LOVED THE LOOK. And the customer service I received was fantastic. I can't wait to try out another pair.

Very disappointed with the feel of the boot. I bought my first pair of Holka's a month ago and was so happy with them Immediately purchased the boots. Once I got them they felt like any other pair of boots I could get for 1/4 of the price

This is the worst pair or hiking boots I have ever bought. The laces start at the bridge of the foot and because of the design you can't cinch down the laces. Even if you could cinch down the laces you wouldn't want to as there is absolutely no padding or protection in the tongue. And there is no support anywhere on them. I don't know who gave these a good review maybe it was someone who has never worn shoes.

I take a mens 14 wide and these do not come in wide width. I tried a size 15 but they were to tight in the width as well.

First off not water proof, no insulation for winter, tongue not think enough to give padding to get boot tight without shoe laces cutting into feet. Shoe laces are too short! Only reason I wear them is padding on insole . Who comes up with these ugly colors???

Where the toe meets the laces this wore through the skin over my toes. They just didn't fit me well like all the other Hoka's I had.

I bought these shoes for work
While they are comfortable
The back rubber on the sole is already getting torn up and the material is hard to keep clean
