I initially really liked this shoe. It fits like an asics, has a nice bouncy ride, the tread is actually really good. Less good: -the laces are slippery and too long; most users will notice they loosen and stat causing ankle fatigue after about 5k. For me they wiggled out of the tongue pocket, came underfoot and rolled my ankle. -the sockliner foam is low quality, and warped. Asics customer service didn't care or offer a replacement -After about 4 months, I am developing some serious metatarsal pain under the ball of my foot. The sole and the upper are fine. The laces and sockliner can be replaced. But whatever is going on in the Ws foam and motion control is unforgiveable. Two serious injuries in a season from one shoe is unaccceptable. Also, Asics wouldn't let me post a one star review on their brand site, so I'm done with them.

If you have wide feet, definitely order up half a size!

These shoes are lightweight and comfortable. I did have to size up 1/2 size from what I normally order in tennis shoes (a full size larger compared to my dress shoes). The exchange process was easy…I initially ordered my normal tennis shoe size since I always get those 1/2 size larger than my sandals/dress shoes, and I ended up with a great pair of shoes.

Overall, great shoe! It does have fairly good arch support, they are bouncy and will provide good shock absorbance when running. The do run small. I usually wear 6.5 in most regular/dress shoes. I went a half a size larger and they fit well with a medium weight sport socks. I would recommend this shoe to my friends and family.

I have another pair of ASICS (size 8.5) that are my main running shoes that I've had for a couple years. I'm in need of replacing those and I liked the look of these. I sized up by half a size (from 8.5 to 9) based on other reviews, but I'm not convinced it was enough. I'm a bit bummed that these fit different from my other ASICS. They seem to be narrower through the toe box. Going to try going up to a 9.5 but may end up having to give up on them.
