These are extremely high waisted, but it lets us trendy old moms pull off the crop tops without trying to look like a teenager. They fit true to size. I wear a medium in all other athletic brands and I wear a medium in these as well.

Love the style and I have several different colors. The purple is darker than what's in the picture but still a lovely color.

These are very flattering, but do emphasize your stomach area. Definitely run small, so size up. Fabric is shiny and kind of remind me of a sleeping bag but I love them.

Sizing totally off. Says a small is a 4-6. I generally wear a size 2 but upsized to the small. Still too small.

If you have thicker thighs/butt...size up! Typically I wear a Large in leggings/bike shorts but I know Free People tends to run smaller and the XL fits great. If I drop a size or two I think they'll still fit because the waist is snug in a good way!

Tried on both the small and the medium (usual size v. size up) and went with the small. The length is about the same, but the medium had a bit more volume in the back. High waisted, nice colors, and will be a good cover for trips to the pool. 5’2”, 110lbs for reference, if it helps.

The fit is true to size. I am 5'1" with an athletic build and chose a small. These are comfortable and love the style! I will buy more colors!!

My daughter has these in many colors. They run a little small she is usually an xs but wears a small in these.

Fit and size was great. Cute shorts. However, the picture looks like a soft peach and this is really a shiny, neon pink.

Fit is very tight around the waste and sizes are not consistent. I have the same size in another color and it is a very different fit.

These shorts are so cute! I got my usual size small. I like that I can wear a more cropped style shirt with this since they are high waisted.

thin enough for movement, but not too thin to wear out in public. the liner isn't too thick (which can sometimes be uncomfortable for me). i would prefer if the waist band was a little shorter, but it's not enough for me to knock down their rating.

This is my second pair of these shorts because I loved how they fit and looked in green. But I have to say, the white is a tad more sheer than I expected. Tolerable but not the best.

These shorts are not bad overall, I think the style is just not for me personally. I have a small waist compared to my hips and butt. There was no gap at all in the waist like I’m used to in anything that isn’t specifically labeled “curvy.” If you don’t have a very defined waist, you may have to size up. They fit my hips and butt in my usual size so I’d say it’s pretty safe to order your usual size if you’re more of an hourglass shape. The thing I ended up not liking is the built in underwear. I don’t think it’s necessary. I’d rather wear my own underwear without the attached underwear this has.

This fit is good. Super high waist. Nice fabric.

Cute shorts but it wasn’t a good idea to wear them on a hike. They kept riding up and I had to keep pulling them down the entire time.
