Wow, what a nice surprise! These are cute on my feet -- just a simple Scandinavian inspired wool felt clog. These are the best feeling, best fitting clogs I've tried. I wear a 9.5 medium in most regular shoe styles and ordered a 9 and a 10 in this clog. The 10 felt too loose, and especially with the wool uppers which will likely stretch, I felt they would be unstable. The 9s had enough length to accommodate, and while I wish they had that smidgen of extra room I'm used to in a 9.5, they actually fit pretty well. With thin socks, they felt like a roomy clog. With thicker socks, perfectly snug and secure. Either way, they feel good. The foot bed is interesting. I wasn't expecting it to have any cushion but it does have a nice amount of give to it, and somehow my arches feel reasonably supported (just shy of moderate). They have the feel of Birkenstock, Haflinger and similar type soles I wear, and I found them easy to walk in. The insole is removable for washing (yay!) and the sole appears to be capable of service beyond a slipper (wear them to the grocery store, for example). These offer no adjustability (straps, buckles) but fortunately they fit just fine as is. For reference, I have duck feet (wider across the toes, narrow heels) with long, high arches. They appear well made. (The tag inside shows these as being made in Myanmar.) I would recommend these to anyone like me who prefers Birkenstock soft foot beds, or who likes the fit of Haflinger but finds the foot bed too hard. I would love to see these in half sizes and more colors!

I think these would work fine if you're just looking for a traditional slipper - just shuffling around the house in the morning or evening - but I was looking more for a house shoe that I could wear all day, stand in to cook, etc. These were just a little bit too loose and sloppy for that purpose (not enough support).

The lining in the heel area has worn thorough to the inner structure after only a few of wearing the slippers. I was very disappointed as the slippers were a treat to myself after many years of buying low end slippers. However it now seems that my low end slippers, which lasted for years, have out performed this expensive purchase. I was shocked and disappointed when I noticed that the lining is failing, especially after wearing them for only a few weeks. I did like the fit, the sole, and the warmth they provide to my feet but am VERY disappointed that the inner lining is made of very cheap material.

I love these shoes. I wanted an indoor, slip on, warm shoe for winter days at home. These are comfortable, very warm without making my feet sweat, easy on/off, and enough support to wear all day long. Highly recommend.

I had a pair of these years ago and loved them. Cons: Unfortunately these ones ran about a half size larger and the bottom was very rigid and did not conform to my foot at all. Pros: The overall quality was excellent; a beautiful shade of gray, with detailed stitching.

Have bought these slippers before. There is enough support for them to be comfortable all day. Also you can wear them outside. Big plus when taking garbage out, etc.

Nice sturdy soles. Good to let the dogs out and wear all day in the house. This is my 2nd pair, and the reason I got another pair, was my last pair, the inside got worn out. This pair is now doing the same thing, and the outside looks like knotted and nasty. Not sure why. I haven't even had these a year.

I got these at end of November and they fit great and helped with my plantar fasciitis issues. I have a size 7.5 foot and ordered size 8 which fit well. However, within a month the wool started pilling a lot on the outside of slipper. The inside lining at the heel has also worn through. I only wear these in the evening and on weekend mornings, so was surprised when they started to look so shabby so fast! The inside wool lining also tends to shed so that when you take them off you'll find small pieces of wool fuzz on your carpet.

I order these slippers online and they arrived on Nov 4 2016. I LOVED them at first. They were just what I needed for cold Vermont mornings. But just recently I noticed the lining had begun to wear out at the back of the slippers on both feet. The right one is worn down to the foam layer between the inner and outer layers of the slipper. $70 isn't cheap for a pair of slippers and I expected them to last longer than 3 months. I'm going to send them back today and order a different kind of slipper. I hope it lasts longer than these :-(

These shoes are very warm and comfortable for wearing around the house or quick trips to do errands! They did take a few days of wearing around to get fully comfortable. The first few days they rubbed a bit on the tops of my feet. They are fine now after breaking them in. I like that I can wear them indoors or outdoors!

I purchased these to give me some arch support around the house. They are warm and very comfortable while providing the support I need. Definitely recommended.

These slipper/shoes are just what I was looking for. I needed something with some support, that kept my feet warm without sweating, and easy to put on. This fit the bill. Also, can wear outside for short trips. They were a little large but not enough for me to order a size smaller. I just added a foam insole under the original insole and that fixed the problem. As with all LL Bean products, I know these last for many years.

These slippers are made with quality materials that are lightweight yet solidly constructed. I can go from making breakfast indoors to grabbing the newspaper or a package outdoors without skipping a beat, and they keep my feet toasty. Giving only 4 stars because they are weirdly wide. I have a very normal sized foot and ordered my regular size (8) - because of the somewhat rigid construction, I feel the front of the shoe quite a bit when I walk - as such, I would have sized up, but they are already much wider than I am used to in a shoe - even while wearing thick wool socks to take up some of the space. I suspect that adding a shoe insert may help take up some of the width issue, but I would worry about stepping out of the slipper given the low back. I am keeping them because, after having tried other similar options from other manufacturers, these are an overall far superior product for the money.

I purchased these years ago and wore them years till they fell apart. I purchased a new pair and the arch support which had been excellent was much less in the new pair. I returned them. The quality is excellent, it was the arch support that did not suit me.

I ordered my LLBean Wool Slipper Clogs in October. I was replacing a pair of 5 yr old Daybreak scuffs that finally fell apart. The new scuffs all have pictures on them and I had been waiting to order for a few seasons hoping Bean would come out with a plain version. These are more expensive, but plain so I thought I'd try them. They are comfortable, but do have a little bit of break in period, unlike the scuffs. My main problem with these is that the inside lining in the footbed started rubbing off within months. I can tell it is rubbing where the majority of my weight is supported in the shoes. I've added a photo of the inside in February and again in April so you can see how it is continuing to get worse. I don't know how long they will last but for the price and usual LL Bean quality, they shouldn't be doing this within 6 months. I like these and they are comfortable so I hope they can hold up awhile. However, I doubt I would buy again given how quickly they start to degrade.

I have been buying various scuff slippers from LL Bean for many years now. I bought a slightly different pair last year because the ones I like now have animals embroidered on them and I prefer a solid color as I sometimes run errands in them when I'm having one of those days. My previous pairs have easily lasted 2-3 years. I replaced my last pair because the dog got lonely while we were away and somehow managed to remove the inner lining of one of the slippers. They were at least 2 years old and maybe 3. And would have easily gone another year. My newest pair I got last year at Xmas. The insides have extensive worn out places and the outsides are constantly make little balls of fabric. Never had that on the other style. I thought maybe these were a cheaper option, but nope $75 for a pair that didn't last a year.

I spent a while searching for the perfect boiled wool clog but ultimately went with the "tried and true" LL Bean clog I've gotten before. Not the right decision! Footbed started wearing out immediately (see pictures) and now I'm down to some bare foam after not very heavy use. Worse: They stink! The whole point of wool clogs is that they don't stink, but these got stinky right away and are now unbearable. Not what I've come to expect from LLBean. Sigh.

The slippers are comfortable and warm. However, after a month of wear, they continue to get covered in pills. I have pulled the wool balls off several times but they continue to happen. I might be okay with that if the fabric on the inside of the heel had not already worn away. I would expect this to happen over time, not after one month of wear. I know LLBean is usually great about returns but I live hours away and do not want to deal with the hassle of shipping them back. I just want other purchasers to be aware of the issues with these fairly expensive slippers.

I've worn these for only one month, today. They replaced a similar slipper from a competitor that I wore for 3 years. I had expected these new ones to be of similar quality. However, the lining of the right slipper has already worn through as shown by my photo. The benefits I like are that they are comfortable, have a good arch support, can be worn outside because of a textured sole, are warm because of the wool. The downside is that I don't think these will last very long . because of the failure of the lining.

I purchased these 8/31/2018 and they are not holding up. The insides are worn down to nothing, the heel on the inside is frayed and fabric is gone. On the outside of the slipper, material is fraying. The outside of the slipper on top, where your foot goes in is also fraying. These are only a few months old. I have been buying LLBean slippers for years and am just so disappointed.

This is the perfect shoe. I wish I had like 4 more pairs. Super comfy, flexible, warm, soft. LOVE great for quick trips. I almost wish I'd never worn them outside so they could be my comfy inside shoes. OMG a pair that isn't a clog/mule too would be SICK. I loveeee these shoes and I get so many compliments lol
