Picture looked great. Item not high enough for a slipper I like. I like one more like a slip on shoe and less like a scuff. The back is too low and doesn't really grab the bottom of the foot. That is difficulty with buying a picture. First time this has happened with LLBean

Warm and the width is good for my wide foot...a bit more difficult to walk in than I had anticipated...but acceptable...not sure I would buy the scuffs again....low part in back by heel just is not as comfortable as I though it might be...

These slippers are very comfortable and well made. The fact that you have to order whole sizes is problematic for those of us with half size feet. The back of the slipper is low which makes it hard to keep it on. I hoping the slippers will mold to my foot after I wear them longer.

Bought these scuffs for an 85 year old man who tried them on, but kept falling out of them; they would not stay on his feet. Have returned them for a different style.

I love LLBean slippers, but this pair, my husband did not like the scuff feature. His feet kept sliding sideways. This could be something that just happens to him. Otherwise, we love the style of the top, better so than the others. Wished this style was offered in the regular mocs. Very nice otherwise!

The wrong size slippers were sent to us. The back is very low and would not support the ankle well if they were worn by a somewhat wobbly person, as is the case here. I will be returning the slippers.

The slippers are very nice but texture of the sole catches on carpet in a grabbing manner making it easy to trip.A SMOOTHER SOLE WOULD BE SAFER.

Since this item does not come in half sizes you must order a size and a half larger to get a comfortable fit.

IT WOULD PROBABLY BE FINE IF THE RIGHT SCUFF WAS LIKE THE LEFT. AS IT IS THE RIGHT IS LARGER BUT THE BACK OF THE SCUFF IS SMALLER (LOWER). MORE MONEY SPENT FOR AN INFERIOR PRODUCT.

The fit and feel were ok, but the sole was not sturdy enough. I'm used to Ugg's and need the extra strength in the soles to walk around the yard.

I'm sorry I bought them. Not used to the scuff idea. Shoe is fine if you like scuffs; I don't. Next time will go back to the moccasins.

Got these slippers a couple years ago. Very comfortable and warm; I wear them all the time. That said, they are really wearing out, not much shearling left in them. Last pair (different brand) I had lasted lots longer.

My husband wears a 10.5 so I ordered an 11 and they are still too small. I am sending them back.

I bought these for my husband for Christmas. They are very nice looking and warm. He has a normal width foot. However, these scuffs were very narrow on him. I'm returning them for the moccasins. I'll let you know...

I alterate ordering scuff slippers for my husband for Christmas from LLbean and another company based on who happens to have the better price that year. This year, LLbean had the lower price. However, when these arrived, they were a good inch shorter than my husband's current scuffs (measuring sole to sole). Now, I have always ordered the same size from both companies, and they have always fit. I double checked the box to make sure the right size was sent, and sure enough, it was size 10. These looked more like an 8 or possibly a 9. When reading the reviews, it seems that a lot of people are complaining about these being too short or too long than their usual size. I think since these started being made in another country the quality control has gone down hill. I am hoping that ordering a larger size will fit the bill and not end up looking like clown shoes. Thank goodness for free returns and shipping!

normally wear 9 1/2 - 10 D shoes. Ordered a 10. Length was ok, but scuffs definitely run on the narrow side. Traded with my son who has the LL Bean moccasins. The mocs runs wider.

Overall, the look and feel of these shoes were great. Until I tried to walk in them. The back of these shoes were too low for me. I couldn't keep them on. Initially, I got a size 11 (chocolate brown). I usually wear 11-11 1/2. However, the length of the shoes run a bit long, so I returned for a size 10. I thought that having them extremely snug would also address the slippage I was getting in the back of the shoes. It did not. The search for my first pair of slippers continues....

I thought these wonderful slippers would be great for my husband, but sadly, they were Way too narrow for his rather wide feet, even though I ordered a size up, as the catalog suggested.

Been buying these for probably 15 years now, and they don't last anymore. I used to get a year out of them, before replacing. I wear them all the time. It's a shame I love these slippers but the resiliency that used to be standard is gone. Please fix this! < 3

I find this an absolutely fantastic product. They are very comfortable and warm. I've never had a problem with L.L. Bean products before but after receiving these moccasins as a gift from my mother, within four months the shearling from the bottom of the foot started disappearing. I don't understand. Perhaps this is a defective pair? I never used them inappropriately or abused them in any way. Only used them as household slippers I wish I knew what to do because this was a very expensive gift.

The product is of high quality. However, it's label is sowed down to the sole, thereby making it very uncomfortable to use the slippers. The label has a sharp edge. That is the only reason I would rate the product so low.

My wife and I have good luck with L.L. Bean and I wanted a nice pair of slippers that would last. I purchased these and they didn't even last two years before they completely fell apart.

The sheepskin liner wore out in less than a year. Not wicked good. I really expected a product that lasted longer. There are bald spots under the heel and under the ball of my foot.
