Chest strap is too wide for a medium at 30 inches around. Other free people, intimately brand bralettes in medium are almost 27inches. It does however look like even a basically competent seamstress should be able to sew in your own closure and adjust the length appropriately. I am 5ft5in 130lbs 34/28/39 34b but prefer 36b Fit- I like wide, stretchy chest straps because I have a neurological condition that makes everything painful but this has an extra few inches just hanging in the back between my shoulder blades. It has a very soft, super easy flex elastic strap between the shoulder blades that would make it much more comfortable if it was the usual tight fit but on me it just sags way down. Idk how this would be different if i had bigger breasts, im pretty sure the chest strap needs to fit the chest regardless of breast size. The rest fits great, the lace comes under the armpit a tiny bit which is a little weird but not uncomfortably. The triangle over the breast covers about like a showy string bikini. I'm afraid if I get a smaller size, this part might be too small but idk it depends how much they change that from size to size. The shoulder straps have a good adjustable length and some stretch. Comfort- it's hard to say because the fit is problematic but I would say between the soft, stretch, chest band, the lace that's not noticeably itchy and the satin covered straps, if you can get the right fit, it would be a very comfortable bra for a lacey, dressy kind. It's also very lightweight, criss crossed straps hurt my muscles by the neck but u barely feel these. The seams and thread are not itchy. On the other hand, it might not be very comfortable for larger chested women because of the cord-like straps and lack of support. Style- it's really pretty. Looks like the pictures. It's perfect for outfits that expose a lot and u need a bra that shows and becomes part of the look. I adore the style. Its the tiniest bit cheap looking but that's compared to $100 bras, which this is not. For the price, it's great. Overall- I really want to keep it. I really like it. But I don't know what to do about the chest strap fit. I'm not sure whether to return it, gamble and try a small that might be too small elsewhere. Or keep this one and pay my awesome seamstress friend to cut the strap down and add a connector. I would say to anyone interested who wears a medium, measure your chest right below the breast and if it's close to 30", go for it. I couldn't find reviews anywhere for this so I hope this helps someone... especially since I had to rewrite it twice because on the last paragraph, my son decided to steal a swipe to turn on my camera so he could do shadow puppets and deleted the whole thing. Your welcome, lol.
