The backpack is used daily for school. It could be a tad bigger.

Everyday go to for important possessions. Laptop, Glasses, cell phone, extra cash and wallet . . I felt the top zippered area under the logo North face was too shallow. The zippered pockets designed to hold valuable items should have depth and less girth when opening the zipper. this would prevent too much exposure for things in case they are placed in a hurried or haphazard manner. Other wise very nice. Paula F.

Backpack is a nice size but I don't like the hard back. It's uncomfortable and I will probably not use the back pack as much as I would have without it! It also prevents me from using it as a carry on

My son Is happy with the color and the style. It has a compartment for everything. I know this will last him through 3 years of middle school and beyond.

I love the different compartments this bag has, but I do wish it would expand to be wider. I often struggle to fit my lunchbox if I have a change of clothes or anything else in there. I really prefer ridiculously capacious bag, but this one does the trick just fine. Plus it's so cutie.

TNF Recon 30L One of the most beloved backpacks in the collection have had previous ones over the years, I was amazed how this backpack just getting better and better! I believe this is the 2022 2023 Recon. i'm very happy with the backpack that's why I purchased again it's user-friendly, and there's pockets everywhere if you need to access items quickly but I am amazed with this model is the bottom is it a waterproof almost like a pleather? It works. This is a great 30 L backpack in my opinion can't go wrong with a price. the North face, recon, a great backpack and an asset.

Bought it for my son. Product is as expected. The only reason I gave it a 4 stars is because the strap is not straight and the stitching looks a little uneven but otherwise is okay.

Outside central nylon cord holder is very nice for extra coats, layers, etc., and the water bottle holders are more ergonomic and better looking than other brand models. Appreciated the organized space coming from big and spacious bags prior. Soft front pocket is good for electronics and small items you do not want to get damaged, while the soft laptop pocket has enough room for both a laptop and an iPad. Perhaps their Surge model has more space in terms of how both backpacks 28L capacity is apportioned, but I found (as a student) it was sometimes difficult on rare occasions to transport everything I needed that was on the bulkier side of classroom and work materials. Worked great 96% of the time, and if you're in a casual work environment, it would work just fine. Big, large, unsupported bags which can hold stuff at a risk of being damaged can definitely do the job just as well as this backpack, but the comfort, quality, and craftsmanship of a bag such as this over, say, the Nike Brasilia/ Sportswear RPM is significant. Easy to bike with. 5 stars primarily for comfort.

I bought this primarily for a general purpose bag, I ended up taking it with me to cut trails in the bush and it held everything I needfor a full day outdoors

The backpack feels sturdy; I also like the quality of the zippers. I think what I dislike is the organization of some of the pockets. But I have to get used to it.

I use my backpack for carrying my laptop back and forth to work. The laptop is large and easily fits inside, along with paperwork, notebook, pens and most importantly my water bottle. The straps hanging down are a little bothersome but this is by far my favorite backpack.

I've had this backpack for a few months now, and I've been impressed. It holds everything I need - my car keys, wallet, chap stick, earbuds, 2 changes of clothes, my portable toiletry bag and my water bottle. The straps and back padding are very comfortable, the best I've ever used on a backpack. As far as the durability goes, I did a lot of research before buying this backpack and saw plenty of reviews mentioning it breaking or wearing out after 6 months or so, but so far it's held up for me, so we will see. However, I have a few observations and complaints. Number one, it doesn't stand up completely straight with stuff in it. It tends to be heavier on the top half of the backpack and looks oddly bulky, which seems to be a bit of a design flaw. I haven't even used the bungee system it has in the front, but it is a bit of a weird look and I'm not a big fan of the water bottle holders on the sides of the backpack. The bungee tightening for them doesn't seem to be the best. I normally store my hydro flask inside the main compartment of the backpack. I give it a 4/5 for its room and overall design, and it seems to be a durable bag. Hoping it lasts me for the next 10 years or so after normal wear and use.

This backpack lasted my son 2 months for school before the strap broke. Then the warranty is to send it back and wait 6-8 weeks to see if they might repair it.
