I started working at a large middle school this past August that has the hardest concrete floors imaginable. At 60 years old, with osteoarthritis in my knees, plantar fasciitis and heel spurs, I was really having a hard time navigating the large campus and standing for long periods. I have been looking for shoes with a rubber sole that are also “funky” and fun that will go with nice jeans, black leggings, tunics, graphic tees and classic blazers (my go-to school wardrobe). I loved the look of these red high tops but I wasn’t sure how they would feel. So far I am very pleased! They fit well (I wear a 9 1/2 and they fit true to size). I did add a pair of inexpensive gel inserts for extra arch support and cushioning (I add those gel inserts to most of my shoes…I actually like them better than my expensive custom-made orthotics). So far these high tops have cushioned my feet on the hard floors and I’ve had tons of compliments from my students and other faculty! The red color is almost a neutral that goes with everything! Another win from Zappos!

These were just a tad tight in the toe box. Really nice padding throughout the upper (which is hard to find) and insole. High quality vegan leather. Nice design. I wanted these for soft comfort and support after having surgery on my foot and ankle. They would have been fine but the toe box was just a tiny bit too tight.

I’m a true 7.5 & that’s what I ordered & the fit is perfect! If a shoe runs large I’m 7 if it’s small I’m an 8. These are true to size & comfortable straight out of the box!!! I wore them for the first time to work a 12-hour day & they were comfortable all day. They’re more of an off-white than a bright white, which I like. Great shoe!

Excellent fit, I'm a true women's 8 and these fit perfectly. They are very comfortable and look great!

I wear these Josalyn sneaker high tops every day now that the weather has cooled. I bought the gray color. It has a soft nap finish. They look great with jeans and leggings. It is a comfortable shoe that does need a little breaking in to soften up the higher ankle area. I added a set of orthotics to the insole to add extra arch support. This made the shoe even more comfy to walk around town in. I measure between 6 ½ and 7 and I bought 7’s. The 7’s are perfect. You might take a look at the similar wedge sneaker from Journee “Ayse” that has a zipper. It takes a while to get the long laces all tightened up and adjusted on this Josalyn sneaker which can slow ya’ down in the morning. Probably when they break in a little more, that won’t be a problem any longer.

Very nice looking, sharp. But a very narrow medium.

I love these and just docked a star because they could be a little more comfy right out of the box. I’ve worn them a handful of times and am starting to break them in. I’m sure they’ll be great after a few more wears.

I decided to return this pair (same as a few other pairs I've ordered) due to lack of arch support. The look is cute, but they are not good for active walking. Been looking for a pair of hightops I can wear that look stylish but also are comfy for walking the pup. I tried arch support inserts, but that made the shoe just slightly too tight at the laces. Also, because it's a flat bottom, they feel clunky to walk in. Overall, look is cute if I was just sitting around, but not practical for my needs and will be returning.

Love the style of these but there is something on the inside of the shoe just under the ankle that is extremely uncomfortable--in fact, on the first wear, the shoe literally made me bleed. It's too bad because they're cute. Going back.

Pleasantly surprised with how comfortable these shoes were, out of the box! They felt about a half size bigger to me, which worked to my advantage. I have some issues with M.S nerve pain in my feet, so I added some extra cushion insoles and they worked out great for a long day on my feet in a warehouse.

Love this shoes! Look like vans but way cheaper. Color is dakine!

Love these grey suede high tops sneakers! The fit is perfect. As i wear them they become even more comfortable! Love the color combination too.

The material is what made us send the shoe back. The outer material felt very flimsy and cheap. It gave the shoe an all over appearance of a discount shoe. My 11 year old daughter would have kept them though, but the color is more burgundy than red.

Cute shoe for the price but pretty cheap quality (didn't realize it's not leather - all plastic materials), looks cheap in person, and felt terrible once I put them on. Very stiff (and isn't going to stretch to fit since it's not leather) and just generally uncomfortable.

These shoes were stiff and super uncomfortable.
