The shoes are cheap and not very well made. No arch support or structure, the inside feels flat and the toe looks like a wrinkled sock. The laces are my biggest issue, they are too long, too soft and stretchy making it difficult to tie the shoe. Overall feels like an overpriced slip-on, and after a while the look is terrible, making the shoe look old right away.

QUARTER sizes...and only ONE WIDTH??? SMH

Love the shoes hate the laces! They are so long they drag on the ground and you step on them. I put regular laces on the shoes. As I removed the elastic laces some of the grommets on the eyelets came off. I was going to return them but decided not to because they are comfortable but the overall quality is not so great.

These shoes were exactly what I was looking for. They're attractive and comfortable. I'm picky about walking shoes b/c I need good arch support and have a fairly wide foot that can feel pinched sometimes in a medium width. In this case, the medium was perfectly fine. I ordered a size 7, my usual size, and that worked well with a standard sort of sock.

The sole was soft and comfortable at first but it collapsed fast. The insoles felt cheaply made like generic insoles and the rubber-band laces were annoying. There seemed to have no support on the shoes since the rubber-band laces stretched in every step. I liked the simplicity of the design but disappointed with the quality overall.  

Love these kicks. I have arthritis in one knee and no pain/issues with extended walking in these shoes. I HATE tying my laces, and elastic laces mean I can do so once and leave 'em forever. These are my new favorite everyday shoes. The only minor criticism is that the tongue doesn't have any connection to the laces or the upper, so if you try to quickly jam your foot in, you can squish the tongue down under the laces which is a pain to sort out. Not a big deal, and with a more methodical foot entry you will be golden. Highly recommend these. Love the simple elegant style, fit, and weight.

Got the 251s and really happy with the shoes. BUT more importantly, the customer service was top notch. My first pair got stolen and i was really disappointed. They promptly shipped a replacement pair, and i finally got them today,

In light of some reviews, I'd like to say that I think they're plenty stylish. I typically like a skate shoe but these are far more comfortable. And I really appreciate the 1/4 size (11 1/4). I always have to buy two pairs of any shoe and it happens more often than not that the 11 is a touch too small (New Balance) and the 11 1/2 is a clown shoe (Vans). After a couple of long walks, I'd say these are very comfortable. And as for style - what are you comparing them to? maybe I'm just an old skater happy for a good walking shoe.

I am a teacher and have high expectations for shoes. These were comfortable from the first time I wore them. They are breathable, attractive, have great support, come in quarter sizes (which I never heard of before these and wow! makes for an amazing fit!), and have elastic laces so I don't have to tie them every time I put them on. I ordered a quarter size up from my usual size and find them to be perfect for me. Thanks so much to HONY for putting these shoes in my line of vision!

I received these shoes about a month ago, and I have worn them every day I need to be on my feet for hours at a time. They are so comfortable and feel like Im walking on clouds. I was so happy to support this company after I read their story on HONY and even more happy once I wore the shoes.

These shoes fit like a glove! I actually have wide feet and despite them not having wide sizes they fit great! Super stretchy, laces are stretchy so you don't even have to untie to put on! The fact that I was able to get quarter sizes is what sent me to atoms (plus HONY). I only wish they made more colors and some grip on the soles. Otherwise great comfy shoe and I have plantar facioitus and my feet don't hurt wearing them all day. Highly recommend!

These shoes really are wonderful! I love the half size options, as thats always been a need for me. The shoes have great arch support and the sole is like walking on a cloud. I wear them every chance I get now - including on long evening walks in my neighborhood.

I love these shoes! I, along with many others, learned about Sidra and Waqas from Humans of New York. I was touched by Sidra's story, and I also wanted to own a pair of these fantastic shoes. I ordered a pair of the all black shoes and they are incredibly comfortable! I love the look of them, and want to wear them all the time. I ordered my typical full sizing, and I think next time I'm going to try a quarter size up because I wear no show socks and believe a quarter size larger might be even more comfortable for me. The shoes are well made and I am pleased with my purchase. I look forward to ordering another pair when they release some limited colorways as well! Also, I am fascinated and obsessed with the stretchy laces! I wish they were in all of my shoes.

As long as you're not trying to run a marathon in these shoes, they're pretty nice for walking around.

Like many, I found Atoms through their story on Humans of New York. The shoes sounded great, so I ordered a pair (and a couple masks!). They are crazy comfortable! They're not really winter shoes, but I've worn them a few times at home and a few times out since spring has started to rear its head, and they're spectacularly comfortable. And the quarter sizing is unique, and makes finding the right size a lot easier. So far I'm 100% satisfied (and the box is cool, too). If I could do one thing differently it would be to make the sole a little more grippy and secure. But that's a quibble; overall they're great value and you're supporting a good company founded by good people.

If your feet hurt, your knees, hips, back, etc. are affected. These shoes are the epitome of fit and comfort...the next best thing to barefoot.

These really do fit like a glove! It was no breaking in period. At all. When I put them on, they were rubbing on the top of my foot. I was only going about a block away and thought, well, I have to break them in a little bit. Like every other shoe I had ever bought. Wrong! By the time I got to my door, it had stopped rubbing anywhere. 10 step break in period. And, omg, I looovvveee the socks!

Good looking simple shoe, comfort is there. I wear shoes ranging from 10 (Tennis shoe) to 11 (Dress shoe), the 10.5 Atom's are perfect for me.

I am amazed that I just did a hike wearing these shoes and my toes do not hurt, my heels arent red, and the balls of my feet are not sore. I absolutely love these shoes. Thank you HONY for introducing me to this brand!
