Light as a feather and one of the most responsive running shoes I have ever tried. Seriously, the POP is amazing! (I have run distances 5k to 100M)

I bought the sneakers as a gift for my wife. interesting color, light, soft, comfortable for every day, not for wide feet, for those with wide feet, I recommend taking half a size larger. Because of this, the score is slightly lower

These run a little small so I also ordered a half size up and the fit was good, although I always need more arch support and these do accommodate an additional insole. But compared to my Gel nimbus from last year, these have less cushioning, and a lower heel differential, which is to my liking

Love the color and light design seems to be a bit narrow.

Light weight and responsive. A bit tight to get on and off quickly if using for triathlon. However very comfy with no socks.

Smaller in fit in the toes so I wish I would have gone up from the recommended size.

Shoe could be a little less bulky in the heel portion.

4.5/5 I have tried a lot of ASICS/New Balance/ Nike's and none are as good as the Gel-kayano 25. I've run multiply times in these and think they're great, a close second to the kayano but, it's tough to compare them since they're so different. When running a 10k the back of the heal gets pretty uncomfortable, I assume due to the design of the cushion/fabric used in the heal. These might not be the best long distance shoes. They're super light weight and the carbon plate puts a nice spring in your stride. Other reviews mentioned width issues, I have wide feet and high arches and ordered my normal ASICS size and they fit just fine.

It feels great but might be a bit too narrow for my right foot. Feels comfy but sometimes results in pain in the outside of my right foot. It is more related to my feet than the shoes which are actually great.

Overall it is a fantastic shoe. Not as squishy as the new "Super shoes". Which I personally like. Having the Carbon just in the first part of the shoe gives it that nice snap! But you can also run plenty of miles in it. Since it does have a good bit of runner. Making it a tiny bit heavier. The sizing is my only issue. I had to go to an 11.5 US. When all my other ASICS are a size 11 US. If they made this in a 11.25 it would be PERFECT, haha. But, sadly they don't. So.... go a half size up and enjoy!

Pros: Shoe is lightweight and breathable. Good fit and support. Provides a smooth rolling sensation as I move through my stride as advertised. Cons: Contrary to the description, I did not think this shoe had a responsive feel. The shoe seemed to have very little energy return and when running in these shoes, my average mile pace is consistently meaningfully slower than with the running shoes I just replaced due to age. The back of the heel on the shoe is higher than most running shoes and it caused a bleeding sore above my heel. I purchased these shoes for my four-mile maintenance runs. Perhaps these shoes were meant to be worn by athletes who run shorter distances such as sprints on the track. For my purpose, I was not satisfied with these shoes and will no longer be running in them, I will just wear them with jeans while I'm out running errands.

I think it’s a personal thing but these didn’t work for me. The insert is tight and I don’t think they’re made to be worn with socks. Otherwise a little tight on size and I’m an 8-8.5 never over 8.5- it was snug. The step felt off i think because of the narrow sole specifically at the arch point. I felt it turned my step inward. Thankfully I was able to return them unworn because they just didn’t fit. I have an average size foot meaning not wide or narrow. Thanks Zappos.

Returning due to rubbing on my left Achilles for no apparent reason. Insoles aren’t removable so I had to place my orthotics on top of them. The shoes are shaped with the toes turned up giving a predetermined step. The sole provides firm cushioning which I liked. The tongue is not cushioned and barely wide enough. These fit smaller than other Asics.

These shoes are great looking but did not fit my othotics. The top of the shoe dug into me. I wanted to love them but I did not.
I'd also recommend:
APL, Asics, Brooks, Adidas, Nike, and Hoka

I have been buying Asics for more than 20 years. I'm always size 9,5. But the Magic Speed feel too tight, I returned them.

Very thin, little support, no cushion on the sides and not worth the money. Definitely wouldn't purchase again.
