This shirt seemed very nice, well made. I am fairly slim, and i was shocked how large the large shirt was. my problem is a medium is too small in the shoulders and too short in the arms. 2 stars for fit

I used your guide to selecting the size for me, and I ordered the large as per that recommendation. It is too big for me.

I mistakenly ordered the large/tall combo of this shirt first time around. At 6'3''/200 lbs I get that it was too big on all dimensions - totally my bad. I returned it for the regular large and was surprised at how much material there is through the midsection. It's generous to say the least - one strong wind and it might be lift off! Anyway the sleeve length was perfect so going down to a medium wouldn't work. Fitted shirts don't normally work for me but clearly if that was an option here, I'd need it. Outside of the sizing issue, the quality seems high and it's super comfortable with great color combos, but the sizing was just too big for me. so returning again and looking for another brand.

Previous purchases from LL Bean were all quality material and fit. Sadly this one was received with the front placket permanently wrinkled. It spoils the look of the shirt.

This shirt is more like the weight of a light jacket. Not totally what I was hoping for.

Quality material and construction, but far too large. If it was not an XXL Tall mismarked as an XL (as I asked them to determine), then that's the last "traditional fit" shirt I'll ever buy from LL Bean.

I thought the shirt was very lightweight and would make the best a good summer shirt

Cloth was too thick and color pattern too dark and unrefined for my liking. Other shirts I have purchased from LL Bean were more refined for indoor winter wear.

Great shirt but way too big. True fit didn't work. Sent back for smaller size

Quality is lacking. I don't recall the description stating that the shirt has pockets. Extra lining is paper thin.

Shirt was excellent quality and comfortable, but the sleeve length was too long for me. Disappointed that LLBean changed sizing of the sleeves on their long sleeve shirts. I've always been a medium and had no problem with the sleeve length until now. Now the sleeve length is too long. Please go back to the 32/33 sleeve length for a men's medium.

The shirt is true to size. My complaint is that it wrinkles horribly after being washed and dried. It's so bad I steer away from wearing it and consider it wasted money.

Very disappointed in this flannel shirt. The placket and collar need to be ironed after every washing. I expected a better quality from LLBean for the price. Other flannel shirts from discount stores wash better than this one.

Ordered a Regular Men's medium for my 5'8" husband and it was too LONG. Cannot be worn untucked. Good quality shirt but will be returning because of the length. Disappointing because the women's one I bought for myself was perfect.

Faded and balled terribly with the first washing even though it was washed in cold water and hung to dry.

would have been a keeper if the sleave cuffs were made for a man. I have small wrists, but this shirt was obviously measured for a women's wrists

Nice quality, but a full size too large. Would have returned it, but my wife cut tags off and washed it.

Order 2 sizes down and get slim if you are a normal size.

The quality of the LL Bean Scotch Plaid Flannel Shirt has dramatically increased in price and has dramatically lost its great quality. Now, these shirts are much more flimsy - the fabric weight is less -- and the quality of the fabric not as near as good as they had been. I had a tradition of buying these great shirts in the past --- but, now could not recommend them. LL Bean please research and find a higher quality source for your fabric.

Does not live up to past flannel shirts. This shirt is disappointingly thin compared to one I purchased last winter. It also is not sized as well as they have been in past years and looks like it will be smaller. I am a customer of forty years and have no idea where I will find any more flannel shirts as finely made as yours USED TO BE!

Excellent shirt except neck hole. Industry standard for decades calls for a 15-15 1/2" neck hole on a men's medium. These med shirts have a 16 1/2" hole. I've measured 2 of them.

Quality of the material used in this shirt went down; now it's very thin. Not the usual LLBean quality. I will not buy another.

I bought this shirt, despite the fact that my husband prefers the "Wicked Good" flannel, because this one has a much better selection of fabric patterns. Despite my husband only wearing this only a few times, the shirt developed holes in the elbows. At this price point, a shirt should really be able to last at least a season. LL Bean will not take this back. I will not be ordering here again.
