Everything is good on these shoe I am happy

Better than expected! Fit and size are excellent. Shoe has a solid, stable platform that allows you to walk confidently no matter the pitch or roughness of the ground below you. Weight is less than I expected, and sensibly distributed. For a walking shoe, they look fantastic. Even the laces seem well considered. I love these shoes. I wear these shoes all four seasons, and I live in an urban area of New England where you'd think insulation would take priority. They just look and feel so good. So why only four stars? I took one star off the total because the tan brown leather interacts with the sweat from my woolen-socked feet to stain said wool socks tan leather brown. I assume some sort of interior lining would fix this, I appreciate the idea of quality leather inside as well as out, but in my pair it's extremely noticeable. For those of you who wear dark socks this won't be an issue. But if you, like me, tend towards oatmeal socks and walking to homes that insist you remove your shoes, it becomes a serious issue very quickly. These shoes are quite close to being perfect.

A stiff but comfortable sole gives you a solid and supportive platform for walking. You may want to add a different insole if you have particularly high arches. The leather uppers are attractive and soft, the leather is aging well, and it comes in wide widths. This would be a 5-star review, but the color I picked ("Tan Leather") tends to leach out whenever my feet sweat, and stain my socks. The inside of the tongue, collar, and heel counter are all of the same leather as the exterior upper, which feels great but is definitely causing the staining issue. Overall this is a thoughtful walking shoe that nicely straddles the line between dress-casual and casual. Just maybe go with dark socks instead of white.
