So sad that these have the Born logo on them. The leather for the uppers is super soft and the styling would look great with either shorts or a dress. The insoles killed it for me. I could feel where the leather strap was connected to the sole of the shoe right underneath the ball of my foot - under the big toe. It's like there should have been another layer between the sole and the insole to cover that spot where the shoe parts meet in order to have a smoother feel. In addition, I got too much "street feel" where I felt as if I was walking barefoot. Borns have always had a good cushion in their shoes to avoid that sensation, even on their thinner soles. I have always bought Born because they are well-made shoes, stylish, and comfortable for those of us with old feet. I was so sad to put these on and immediately say "nope!" Born, if you're doing something new, stop it and go back to the old way!

Since I wear a 9.5, I ordered the suggested size down, a 9, but it was too small so back to Zappos they go. The back of my foot was just barely on the shoe and from reading other reviews, a 10 may be too large. It's too bad because I liked the style of the shoe and it was comfortable enough. If they'd fit, they would've looked really cute with jeans when the weather gets cooler. Wish Born would make half sizes.

Good quality, excellent in comfort, style, just a great sandal all around.

Very nice style. Returning this pair though because the item arrived with stains on the upper (not a deal breaker); the main reason for the return is that the size 9 is too big. This sandal is not available in half sizes. My foot is 9.75" from heel to toe, and I usually wear a size 8 or 8.5 in sandals. FTR: I've also ordered the size 8 which feels like a better fit than the 9. My heel was right on the edge though.

What a disappointment. I don't know why Born doesn't offer half sizes. The 8 runs small and the 9 is too large. For a company with HQ in Connecticut, you'd think that the sizing would be more inclusive. I won't be purchasing their shoes again.

When I first put these on and walked around in the house they were turning so that my heel was kind of off the back of the shoe. I was concerned that they might not work. I then loosened the buckle 1 notch and they stopped doing this and fit perfectly.

Love the sandals. A bit wide fir my feet but they adjust.

The size and fit were perfect. I wear a 7.5 but the 7 was just right. Love the color and the texture. I've only worn them outside once and already have received a complement!

These shoes have the softest leather I’ve ever felt in a shoe- I bought them in light tan first. They have enough coverage to hide my bunion sand comfortable enough not to aggravate it.

Perfect all around, really a great, comfortable, good looking sandal!

reviews said runs small so order a size up. I found them to run large and had to return for a size 9 which is my normal size and fit perfectly

Love these sandals! Very comfortable and hugs the foot.

I like the size, fit and materials, but they just looked a little too plain. Wish the cute style with the open arch was still available, returning these.

Born runs a size smaller for me but I've figured it out I love all my born shoes they wear very well

I really wanted to love these shoes. They would be perfect with jeans or casual looks. I couldn’t keep them on my feet, I kept walking out of them. They might work if you have a flatter arch. I have a very high arch and I think the strap hit at a point where it pushed the shoe off my foot.

Good quality sandals. Very little to no arch support, but comfortable well padded footbed. Not a style I’d choose for long walks.

Taking Zappos advice, I ordered the size 7 in brown. I usually wear a 7 1/2, but I see people said they run large. I’m glad I listened. At first they fit a drop snug on my medium width feet, and my heel goes to the end of the footbed. But after wearing them for a week, they have stretched and are pretty comfortable. I took one star off because there is no arch support. I love the look of the sandals, but I wouldn’t take long walks in these. They can fall off of your feet easily. Still I’m happy with them.

The shoe is extremely comfortable. Slightly wide for a M width. In all fairness I have a narrow foot. I normally wear a 7.5 and I bought a 7 and the length was fine. Keeping them because they are so comfortable. I do wish the sole was a little more dressier looking. Overall for everyday casual wear, good shoe.

As I get older I find myself going for comfy born often. These are pretty good. The red suede isn't really red, more rusty and the buckle is too big in my opinion. But they feel really good so I'm keeping them. I wear size11 so I have a hard time calling any shoe cute.

Love these sandals, the fit and quality are are in line with Born, however they are harder to keep on my feet as I walk, than the flip flops I typically wear. I’m unsure if I’ll keep them or look for a similar style but with a strap around the heel, again this could just be me and that I’m not use to them.

Attractive, but too wide for my narrow feet, even buckled to the tightest.
