I love the wide toe box that allows my feet to expand during long trail runs. Overall they feel great. The one problem I'm having is that they seem to expand within a few miles of running - they had loosened so much, I had to tighten them twice during a 14 mile run.

One pair for my indoor workout shoes at the gym, the second pair for outdoor walking. The most comfortable athletic shoes I've owned. Roomy are upfront for toes and good support all over!

I've been wearing Topos for years. I prefer the drop 3 and 5 range. I gave these a try and so far I like them. I run about 15-20 miles a week right now. They are light and comfortable. The heel lip was different to me but I got used to it. I'd buy these again. They feel good and will make good summer running sneakers.

They feel too small and hurt my feet so I haven't been able to walk any mikes with them. I'm really disappointed be cause I love the way they look.

I am a die hard Topo fan, I love everything about this brand. I ran in the Zephyr, having gone through 2 pair beautifully with zero issues and nothing but love for them... but then they were discontinued. After I dried my tears I ordered the Cyclone. After 3 runs, 20 miles, my left heel has developed a hot spot which I can't fix with socks or lacing. There is something about the snug heel curve that just doesn't work for my foot. The tighter curve top to bottom is too much. These are also too squishy, not rigid enough, so my ankles are a bit more sore after using them and my feet kind of move different. They sort of remind me of when I used to run in Brooks Ghost and always had shin issues, I sense that these would take me down that path. I miss the Zephyr so much, they were my unicorn.

Bought these shoes for the low heel drop and wide toe box. They are light weight and initially really comfortable. I was worried about the seam at the back of the shoe, and for good reason, I had blisters within 2 miles. I am used to running in low to 0 drop shoes and don't like too much cushion, so I thought these would be perfect. However, I can't seem to run more than 4 miles in these without my feet and knees hurting, which has never been a problem for me. And yes, they are a pain to lace up. I think Topo missed the mark on these unfortunately.

Bought the Cyclone to train and walk. Pros: 1) Awesome wide Toebox, 2) Fitted midfoot and heel, 3) and no "stability" that rolls the feet outward and smashes the toes. 4) TopoAthletic is the only shoe I've found with a wide toebox and fitted midfoot-heel (not just the only running shoe--the only shoe periord). Cons: 1) Causes repeated heel blisters, in spite of soft fabric. I had to add padding inside the heel to prevent blisters. 2) The Heel funnels particles down inside the shoe ===> it's not suitable for dirt roads or sandy areas. 3) Needs more drop (gasp!). 4) Needs more cushioning. 5) Needs last design for supinators. Cushioning and drop are unpopular concepts in athletic shoes, but many of us can go longer, faster, and more comfortably with drop and cushioning. And I understand there are as many supinators as pronators, yet we can't find shoes for supinators that actually fit (like the Topos fit).

2nd pair of Cyclones but my umpteenth pair of TOPOs. Disappointed these are already breaking down after 3 runs. Used to outstanding quality from TOPO, so this is a surprise.

I wanted to live these shoes, the seemed like the perfect pair for my wide front foot and narrow heel, and they were great for the first month or so of wear. But, now, I can't even wear them for half a day with out getting terrible pains in my knees and feet. Thinking this pain was from something else, I continued wearing these shoes until I noticed the front part of my foot slides around ALOT as I'm walking (heels stay put). Theres just too much side to side movement and a "tall" footbed, the ball of my foot and toes are just out there with no support. I even tried adjusting the laces, no help. I went back to my old shoes, and the pain is gone. I'm a steady size 6 lengthwise, a perfect thumbs width from the end, but these are just too wide in the front, so sad :(

I typically wear a 7.5 which is what I initially ordered in this shoe. It was definitely too small and exchanged for an 8 in red. The 8 still seemed a hair short but has not caused any problems over 400mi. I like the secure fit through the mid foot which gives me more confidence in technical terrain and on the down hill. I just ordered another pair in size 8, this time in green just so I could keep track of which shoes had more miles on them. Fit is completely different, the shoe is longer and wider, higher volume. Double checked the labeling in both shoes to be sure they are the same model and size. Cosmetics/materials are the same. What's up with that? Super frustrated. This would be my "go to" shoe and would probably recommend the shoe if I knew what size to get. Afraid to order another pair.

Super comfy but dirt and gravel gets in. These need gaiters.

The shoes are too narrow in the toe box. I wish you would be more consistent in the toe box shape and size amongst your shoes.

The width is perfect! My only issue is the outside ankle part of the shoe runs on the bottom of my ankles. Not a good fit there and causes problems. Can you design them with a lower ankle like the first pair I bought a couple of years ago. I'm back wearing them.

I run and walk in my Topos. I would like a little extra cushioning in the heel as my heels are sometimes sore after. Love the roominess in the toes and my arch feels supported.

I consistently fit into a women's 11 or a men's 9-9.5 in topo shoes. The MT3 in an 11 is WAY too small. No biggie, I just order a pair of 12s. They're ginormous. Apparently the women's 12s don't suffer from the running small issue! My husband has a pair of men's MT3s in a 9.5 that are smaller than the 12s. So if you have big women's feet like me, you may want to just try three men's MT3s. The shoes seem great otherwise! I think I'd love them if there was a size that fit like a normal topo women's 11. The blue and coral color is very pretty. It's a little brighter in person than the photos, which I like.

I like the wide toe box and narrow heel but the shallow toebox causes pressure on my toes. In my most recent 50 K I injured three toenails with the shoes. I wish the toebox was a bit deeper up at the toes.

I hike 2 to 3 miles a day and the shoe on the wider foot is taking a long time to break in. The problem is the facing of the lace area, it is very stiff and irritating. 60 miles in and it is still annoying. They are otherwise comfortable and provide secure footing. I have debated returning them, but will probably keep them. I would probably not buy again. I would recommend them for average or moderately wide feet.

I really wished the Cyclone had worked for me. The minute I put on this shoe, I loved the overall feel of it. It is light, cushiony and springy. My pace felt better on trial runs. However, there is not enough heel grip to keep my heel from slipping and it would rub my Achilles. I tried cinching the laces tighter but it put too pressure on the top of my foot and hurt. Going down a 1/2 size would have been too small. My ST3s have a thin heel collar too, and rubbed my left Achilles at first but broke in, but never had any slippage issues. I like the firmness of this shoe; the Magnifly 3 was too soft for me. It definitely is a 3 season shoe due to the light mesh material. I purchased the white/sangria, it looked sharp, and the red is nice, more of a berry color. If Topo reinvents the heel collar, I'll definitely try buying again. Although I had issues, I would recommend trying this shoe I purchased my regular size shoe 9 1/2 in the Cyclone, as well as in the Magnifly and ST3 as well. I did have to size up to a 10 in the MT3 - a shoe I love, BTW!

I run 15-25 miles and walk 15-20 miles a week on average plus do fitness classes in between. I do all of this in some version of Topo's. I prefer my Zephyr's for road running and my Ultraventure Pro's for trail running. For walking, I prefer the Phantoms. For my fitness classes, I prefer my ST-3's or Fly-Lites. I was pretty excited about the Cyclone release until I learned they only came in white through Topo but I decided to try them anyway because the description sounded great. I like the berry colored sole but they were covered in muddy paw prints within 20 minutes of putting them on. First observation after the obvious color is that the fabric is really, really thin. The pro on this is that they are very breathable with mesh like areas and a quick dry fabric. The con on this is that I see the fabric wearing holes through VERY quickly with any kind of regular wear. Second observation is that the heel is different than my other Topo's with the sock like thin, high pull on heel and no cushion. I don't have a pro on this personally because I like low, cushioned heels and this heel is cut too high so feels weird to me but this style could be preferable for others. Third observation is the cushioning. The pro on that is that they have a really nice bounce when running that makes them very comfortable to run in on paved roads and they feel pretty stable as compared to the equally cushioned Phantoms. The con is that the cushioning does not come with arch support. Everything else is standard Topo with the wide toebox and non-constricting instep. I opted to keep them but I believe I will use them strictly for walking vs running. I am also going to have to find a way to dye them something that is not white.

There are some great things about these shoes--underfoot comfort, nice upper, good laces. A couple of things stand in the way of it being stellar. The heel swoops outward and is a funnel into which tiny pebbles and sand fall while running or walking. I guess the heel design is innovative but maybe there's a reason no other shoes are made that way. Second, the tongue is too thin and when I tie the laces tight enough for lockdown, my feet tend to fall asleep because there's no tongue padding.

I love the Topo brand shoes. I own several pairs, these shoes are very comfortable although they gave me blisters on my heels. I even passed them down to another person and they experienced the same thing. Not sure what the issue is.

Wanted to love as they are very comfy and responsive, but couldn't get past the non-structured heel. Rubbed into a blister first time I wore them. Would buy again if they changed the heel.

I was trying to replace an older, wonderful Topo shoe, and this model proved to be too flexible and not supportive enough. It is probably a fine shoe, just not for my feet.

Took me awhile to figure out these were the reason for my foot pain by end of day. No heel padding like on Ultrafly 2 Bring back the 2 's so I can stock up
