I wanted the Farrah chunky glitter docs but they’re sold out everywhere. I wasn’t sure I was going to like the embossed glitter style of these so I ordered from Zappos to take advantage of the free returns- turns out I LOVE THEM! Very comfortable and the glitter is so pretty. If you’re a half size I would size down- I’m an 8.5 and the 8 fits perfect!

They aren’t as glittery as I thought they’d be. In fact, they don’t look or feel like leather; they look and feel like thin coated cotton. The glitter is minuscule and more like white-ish dots. The support is severely lacking; my arch felt like it was collapsing so I added Cadence inserts which made them fit perfect, however, they have thick stitching where the tongue is attached so when I added the insert to give support, it pressed the thick stitching into the entire top and sides of my foot. If you have wide feet, the stitching will dig into your feet. If you have flat feet (like me), your arch will totally collapse in these boots. I read all of the aforementioned (sizing, fit, amount of glitter) in a review elsewhere but gave them a try anyway because of the allure of the glitter. I’ve worn Dr Marten off and on since the mid-90s and this was the first time I had so many issues with their product. I’ve exchanged these for a pair of 1460 solid black with black stitching (which has always been my go-to aside from the Made in England purple patent leather pair I’ve babied for years).

When I initially tried these on I thought I’d have to return bc they felt a little tight. When I loosened the laces and wore them for a little they fit perfectly. So glad I decided to give them a chance and not return. They are also so comfortable. I am on my feet 8+ hours a day and they feel super supportive.

So these are my 7th pair of boots ive bought, ive had no issues with my somewhat wide feet fitting comfortably in the boots before these. Im not sure why but they just fit snug, Not uncomfortably enough to return, im hoping after the initial breaking in period they loosen up on the sides just a smidge enough to be comfortable like my others. Esthetically I like the look, i thought the embellishments would be more crystally than they are but again, dont dislike it enough to return lol. If you have wideish feet id probably pass on these though unless you want to try to see if they loosen up with wear.

We gave these shoes to our daughter in law and she immediately put them on and modeled them. I don't think she has taken them off since.

Super cute and stylish. Just enough shimmer! They are a little stiff which is normal for these boots but they are a great boot.

Fit perfectly, not too bulky

I absolutely love these boots and really wanted them to work. I would describe myself as a 9 1/4. 9s are usually tight and 9 1/2 a little big. I purchased the 9 and 8 and neither fit. 8 was too snug and 9 my heel lifted up.
