I wore these for the first time and they made my right heel bleed through my sock. The insole is comfortable but the back really hurt my heels

I've had this pair of Vans since September of last year, and they were starting to break in very well, and get very comfortable as Vans do. I mostly just walk city streets and go to stores wearing these. However, on my walk today, I looked at my soles, and the right outsole is ripping away from the foxing. I'm honestly very disappointed, because once you get a rip like that, it's soon that the pair is ruined.

I am a huge fan of Vans! I have been wearing them since I was a teenager and never had an issue. However, I wore these out for the day and my toes feel cramped + my heels are blistered. I'm so disappointed in this style. :/

I have a million pairs of vans and this is the only pair that has ever caused blisters so disappointing

This shoes are very tight, and hurt me and my wife's feet withing 20mins of putting them on. After 30 mins I couldn't walk from pain and had to take them off. A solution may be take the insole out and put a different pair in. This pair has different insole from any other vans I bought and I have about 10 pairs currently.

These shoes fit very tightly and 8 even bought then a size above my other vans in my vast collection. If you like these shoes replace the insole with a different one.

I wear old skools and the slips on daily, Not sure what the difference is but these rub the back of my heels no matter what socks I wear.

wore this shoe once and the back heel hurts so bad. By the end of the day, my heel had a calluss. First time owning and wearing vans shoe, probably won't buy another unless someone responds and tells me a comfty shoe that vans makes.

I am a huge Vans Head. I wear the brand everyday. But these these are trash. The shoe is so stiff and has murdered my poor heels. Walking less than a mile in them the plastic heel and leather inside is a bad combo especially for a shoe that is unable to adjust. Big miss for me.

I wish vans made their shoes like they did 15 years ago, with a wider toe box and manlier profile. I used to only wear old skools for a good decade. 95% of the models are too narrow now for no reason at all other than to appeal to teenage girls, which is their target audience now. The skate sk8-low is a better and wider shoe in my opinion, which they've evidently stopped making recently, so I gave these a go, even knowing already that the classic series is too narrow.... . These are too narrow for me as well and even look overly narrow and feminine on your feet. They're practically "corner kickers." We want a more rounded and less pointy toe box.

The shoe looks fine. But after a few Ollie's it wears and holes start to form. Not worth the price. Get DC shoes if you want durability.

I have worn 10.5 Vans slip ins for a decade. Literally dozens of pairs. These feel like 9s. So tight they are unwearable

I had high hopes for these shoes and loved them initially. However, they dig into the back part of your heals and rub against them as you walk, making it very uncomfortable. After 2 hours of wearing them, i had noticeable pain. After a full days use of +8 hours, i had bleeding ankles. 3 weeks later of wearing bandaids on the back of my heals to break them in, it is still the same deal. I had to soften the top part of the heals with some pliers by flattening it out and bending it backwards. Some of the stitching ripped in the process.

My boyfriend wears a size 14 and most of vans shoes don't go to that size. I called customer support and they said that it can't be made even if I offered more money to do so.

It's up to Nick Michel so I guess he can do whatever he wants. That being said, they are Brown Skate Old Schools with his name at the Top of the Tongue and a Design on the Insole. Are the point of these to be a Secret if I'm not wearing shorts? In which case insert the Will Ferrell Anchorman GIF of "I'm not even mad, that's amazing". If this wasn't intentional then why isn't the insole pattern on the Side wall? Just For one possible example. So as to be unique. Or again, if he is living his truth, and this is his result of having the incredibly rare opportunity of being a few of 7 billion people to have a Signature shoe. Then here it is. Cool.

Been wearing Slip-on Pros for years. The tongue on these is tighter than a toddler size. Please bring back: Original materials and Ultra Cush Insoles

Surprised because I've never had a problem with slip ons from vans before but I got this pair with the pro Cush for extra support but it is sized so weird! The shoe feels too long on me but it's so slim towards the top fourth of my foot. It thought maybe I need to just break it in and while that was an extremely uncomfortable process, it helped not give me blisters on me heels anymore but I feel like it's actually hurting my foot now since it's my everyday pair of shoes. I notice I'm walking differently now when I'm not wearing my shoes. Sad because I spent more money on these hoping it would be better but it was worse :(

These look good but, very uncomfortable. They're really stiff and even with tall socks, the heel of the shoes have caused blisters on both feet.

The shoes look great but were way too small. I am usually an 11.5 men's and that's what I ordered. I could barely squeeze my foot in them.

2 stars because I mourn the previous design. They got a new supplier or something because these are noticeably different than my previous pair and what I'm guessing is a design they've evolved. The heel cup is now taller and stiffer, which means they eat up the back of your ankle and are far more difficult to break in and put on. Hopefully they pack in but right now after two weeks they're still blister machines.

Heel lining is super stiff and painful compared to the last pair I got which I loved. Hopefully the next gen will fix this issue / go back.

I've been wearing Vans for 30 years for causal wear and skating. These are horrible! Heavy, uncomfortable and don't breath well.

I really love the look and the overall feel of these; however the right shoe is chewing up my heel. I haven't been able yo wear them for about a week. They are definitely not "new" at this point.

I wanted to love these. Weird fitting and hurt to walk in. The pro versions were much more comfortable. Why fox something that wasn't broken?
