My issue is partly with the boots, and largely with the company. I ordered 3 straight pairs with the same stitching issues (unfinished hanging stitching near the toe where the rivet panel meets the boot body); and the last pair had someone else's used socks tucked inside. Chippewa boots are more comfortable than Redwing for me, but I'm beginning to understand why they don't list these on their website -- they just aren't acceptable quality. Maybe the fourth pair will be better; but I'm not sure I'm willing to spend another month of waiting and returning to find out.

This is an awesome lace up boot, I did order a full size smaller, I usually wear 9 1/2. But after reading I went a full size down and they fit perfect, I got these for everyday wear but they look so good I will wear them going out, I have other Chippewas, thorogoods and a pair of redwing 1907, these Brentwood cap toes are my favorite , have wore them all day and are really comfortable, I did call in and spoke with Jason was very helpful, order was delivered on time, good experience, will diffidently be ordering again, may decide to get this boot in black, awesome boot!!!! Thanks again!!!

I ordered a half size larger so I could use an insole insert for arch support.

This is the only good boot of its type to be had below 400 dollars. Comfortable with half-length insoles. Would be longer lasting if the leather was stiffer.

It was all good, except the boots were quite worn and broken in. They belong in a goodwill store. C'mon Zappos.

This is my second pair of Chippewa boots so obviously I like them. They are "boom proof" work boots and last forever. Made in the USA, too. I get a lot of compliments on my Chippewa boots.

These boots fit well and looked good. I bartend and wanted these to replace my last pair of wolverines that lasted almost 3yrs. These less than a year in the soles are already falling off and the tread worn off. The original laces blew out in 2 months and eyelets deformed. Not bad boss but for $300 these should be way better. Not worth the cost.
