This hat is absolutely fantastic. It's basically the perfect hat for playing tennis on hot, sunny days. It keeps the sun off most of your face, your ears, and your neck. It's lightweight and helps keep my head cool while providing way more protection than a baseball cap. The built-in sweatband helps keep sweat out of my eyes. It's easy to rinse and dries quickly. It's easy to adjust the tightness perfectly so it stays on your head without any discomfort. I literally can't think of anything I would change about this has from a functional standpoint. If I lost it I would buy another one instantly - it's hard for me to imagine going back to playing in a ball cap. That being said, wearing this hat is admitting that you've reached middle age. It is might be the most ludicrous-looking article of clothing I've ever owned (and I've been to Burning Man ... twice!) I'm not a remotely vain person, and I still want to wear a baseball cap from my car to the court, and only then pull out this magnificent monstrosity. It's somehow equal parts baseball cap, dinner plate, and Star Wars rebel soldier helmet. If you want a hat to play tennis in, you should buy this hat. It's great! And also, if more people have them, I'll feel slightly less ridiculous wearing mine.

I am someone who really hates wearing hats but I know I need the extra sun protection so I went in search of a hat I would be least annoyed by. This one worked out for me. Lightweight. Adjustable. I can still see around me but am shaded. Packable and easy to stow away when it's time to take it off. Also appreciate the toggle chin strap for when the wind picks up. This is basically a perfect hat for a hat hater!

This hat shades my face and neck just the way I expected it would. The fit is great because there are 2 ways to adjust it. I really would have liked a darker color than white but this is all Zappos had in my size.

It's excellent quality. The brim is quite stiff which makes it harder to roll and pack like I do with another Sunday Afternoon hat I always wear hiking,

This is a fantastic hat. I have a small head and there was too much fabric at the top of it. A friend is buying it from me. Fortunately, Sunday Afternoon sells Kids hats and there was a similar hat that I bought in a large and it fits perfectly. This is a great company with terrific products. I just had a nose Mohs done and I will now only wear their hats.

Perfect sun hat for activities, keeps you a little cooler too. Has an optional neck strap for windy days. Great wide brim for face protection from the sun as well as a little flap over back of neck. I put it on every time I play pickle ball, have had many compliments, and recommend the brand highly.

Sunday Afternoons hats are high quality and this one fits right in. Love the color! I have a big head and the L/XL has room to spare. I am able to cinch it down to just the right size. Ponytail holder could be slightly bigger so I can get my fingers in to pull my hair through, but works. I will admit that I feel slightly dorky in this hat, but that is about me, not the hat. I have to keep the sun off (high risk of skin cancer) and this hat is much more effective than sunscreen (and much less greasy!). Appreciate the chin strap too for windy days.

I bought two of these sports hats because I wear them every day and I love the comfort and coverage while I garden and also walk my dogs. They are nice looking hats. Great for protecting your face and neck from the Southern California sun . I was glad to find this company with their well made products

This is a very fine hat. It provides excellent sun protection, stays in place with the strap, and is attractive. This is my second one so that I could have a backup. It washes well.

This is a great hat that provides good sun coverage, is cool, and stays on in the wind. Very good for golf, hiking, etc.

I love the amount of coverage this hat provides, its lightweight feel and adjustability. The neck covering took some getting used to in terms of how it looks (I barely feel it but it looks odd in the mirror) but it does a great job of keeping my neck protected.

Love that it comes in L/XL size and it has a place for my ponytail although I wish the opening was bigger as I can't fit all of my hair in it

I love this company's product. This is my go-to hat when walking the dog. With a flexible back, the hat doesn't catch wind as much, allowing me to wear it without using the chin strap on most days.

The hat fits well, is great protection from the sun & looks quite spiffy.

I fish, golf - spend time outside and a normal cap does absolutely nothing for me and then the first one ended on my head over ten years ago. Yes, the first one lasted 10 years but was a tad crusty....washed several times. Needed a new one!! As you can tell I love this model....
