I've been wearing Dansko shoes for decades so when they came out with a running shoe I thought my endless search was over. The style is awesome and my first thought when I tried them on was utter amazement at how cushiony and supportive they are. I'm a size 8.5-9 and since the reviews all said it fits true to size I ordered my usual size 39. The shoes are narrower than I would like and my toes are hitting the end of the shoe. Still, they're better than any others I've tried on the past few months but as one reviewer said, they're throwing my foot forward. It's almost as though the heel is elevated. I tend to over pronate so not sure this is the right shoe for me. So far it feels like it will put too much pressure on the ball of my feet. I might try sizing up and see if that helps. Shout out to Zappos for their patience. It's taking awhile but I'm getting closer to finding the right shoes!

I don't really care about the styling; I'm all about utility. I wanted as much shoe as possible under my feet, and Dansko accomplishes that of course. These shoes make a huge difference on my morning 'walk' with a neighbor who I swear is race walking. I usually straggle behind her panting, but these shoes seem to just bounce me along and make the walk so much easier and faster that I will definitely buy them again.

I was hopeful this shoe would work as I need a stiff sole for my big toe fusion, however it wasn't wide enough for me around the bunion joint. I like the cushioned sole and that you can also use your own orthotics if needed. It would be nice if Dansko offered more of their styles in Wide.

I wear a 8 normally in a shoe and was told to order a 38 by the sizing advisory. I was told to buy this size when I often wear a 39. I was very pleased with the comfort and the fit. A great fit right out the box. I have a degenerative arthritis in my great big toe. This shoe aligned my foot and also relieved ankle pain when I walk. I can't say enough good things about this shoe and I bought the navy and looks great too. I also like the give in the fabric in the upper part of the shoe.

I love Dansko and have other styles, but this is the first running shoe I've gotten from them. I was a little concerned that the toe box wouldn't be wide enough (I usually order a wide and these were only available in regular), but they're very comfortable; no squeezing at all. They're really comfortable over all and an added bonus is that there seems to be some sort of extra support in the heel. I'm really happy with these.

The fit was actually very good and comfortable but the sole is very squishy. I thought from past experience from Dansko that the sole would be more stable and supportive. this shoe might work for someone that has great balance and support but for me, Im pretty sure I would turn an ankle wearing these and that they would not be healthy for me to use as a walking shoe

This shoe is absolutely the most comfortable shoe I have found for my plantar fasciitis due to having high arches. I have tried brands like Vionic, New Balance, Ryka, Ortho feet, Sketchers, and everything in between - these are hands down the best sneaker. They support your heel without making them wobble. The arch support is the best I’ve found. The toe box is wide enough without feeling loose. I can do all kinds of activities in them that I found to be painful before - walking, cardio, weight lifting, etc. They run a tiny bit large so if you’re in between sizes I would choose the smaller size. I usually wear a 7.5 or 8 and the 7.5 fit perfectly but the 8 was definitely too big.

Dansko Pace are perfect in every way EXCEPT toe box. What a bummer. Dansko athletic shoes that I've purchased in the past had adequate room in toe box. These don't, and I tried 2 different sizes. Both sizes rubbed against the outside of my big toes. I walk recreationally 15 to 20 miles a week and, given the price of these shoes, don't want to assume these shoes just need time to break in.

I so wanted to love these sneakers - the heel has some kind of squishy material that really does propel the foot forward and minimizes any heel strike discomfort. They would be great for long walks. But the arch (wonderful Dansko arch as usual) did not hit my foot in the right place and the toe box seemed a little tight even with thinner socks which I do not prefer for walking. Sadly, they are going back.

A pair of shoes that are stylish and comfortable. I tried on over five pairs on. Thank you Zappos for your patience. I have spinal stenosis and drop foot in one foot as well as tingling / numbness in the same foot. These shoes work for me. I can walk and stand pain free. I wanted to love Hoka but they hurt the top if my “good” foot. Other friends swear by Hoka.

I love Dansko shoes but was a little hesitant to purchase their sneaker. I usually purchase New Balance however couldn’t find a pair I truly liked so I purchase the Dansko Pace. I couldn’t be happier with my decision. These sneakers are amazing. From the moment I first slipped them on I was in love. The fit is perfect. They are light weight yet have a extremely sturdy sole. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I love these shoes! I was nervous in ordering them. Generally the Dansko clogs state the heights of the shoe's heel and platform. These shoes did not. As someone who experiences tender achilles tendons if a shoe is too flat, I'm happy to say that the heel to platform difference feels about the same as the Dansko Professional clogs (my go-to). With sizing, I generally like my clogs in a size 39 (so my heels move freely). Since the Dansko Pace is a tie shoe, I went down to a size 38 and they are a perfect fit. I'm very happy with this purchase!

This is the third pair of Dansko I’ve bought! Love the style (not bulky), comfortable as soon as you put them and I can fit an additional arch (high arches with plantar fasciitis) under the insole. Perfect for me! Highly recommend

Perfect fit with excellent arch support (I have high arches). This is a very supportive and structured shoe which prevents me from wobbling around. It works much better for me than Hokas which I found too soft. Looks good, too.

I love Dansko clogs and walking shoes - these sneakers are SO cute and fit SO well - thanks Dansko for once again producing a great shoe!!

I work in a non-temperature controlled manufacturing environment and needed something supportive, yet breathable, for standing and walking on concrete floors all day. After two days of wearing these at work, I am finally able to run again in the evening for enjoyment. I had bunionectomies in my teens, have weak ankles, Morton’s neuroma, and one flat foot. These shoes, while not stylish, suit my needs perfectly.

Made a funny squeaking sound when I tried them on in the house. Someone felt as though they ought to be comfortable but did not feel stable. I am usually a womens 8, these felt slightly big, not a full half size, but too big.

I love Dansko and always wear a 39 (size 8.5 US). These were just a little big on me overall, about a half size. I will return for a 38.. Also, I am hoping they make a solid white sometime!

I’ve been wearing Dansko for 15 years, was so excited when this style came out, was sadly disappointed after wearing a shift.....they are being sent back.

The shoes were too tight. Please make this item in a wide and extra wide.

This pair is very comfortable and arch support is substantial. Runs true to size. Plenty of room in toe box

I wanted a light weight but supportive shoe for Europe travel, but not white. This black shoe has enough but not too much color to keep from looking boring but not too wild like a carnival. I really appreciate that the shoe does not have the “white wall tire” look that so many casual shoes have . They will also have room for my orthotics though the shoe currently has much better than average arch support. I have a narrow heel but like a wide toe box. I’m 71 and hard to please. These are Perfect!!

These fit true to size for the Dansko brand. I’m a nurse and have worn their clogs since starting my career. I wanted to try the sneakers to see if they are comfortable enough (like my clogs) to wear for 10-12hr shifts. These are perfect! I have tried many other sneakers that have support etc, but these are the only ones that I have not had sore feet or lower back pain after a shift. Definitely will purchase again.

I love Dansko brand shoes and have worn them for years...these are great as well. However, maybe because they are 'athletic' shoes or some other reason, their sizing was off for me. I had to return the originals and replace them with a smaller size. Zappos made the exchange painless because of their incredible customer service. Thank you.

These are the most comfortable tennis shoes I've ever had. I have orthotics in other brands and do not need them in the Pace. I bought 2 pair.
