I wish I could wear a sleek, flat, expensive-looking shoe. But it just never happens because I need arch support, which usually entails a chunky, clunky design. Thank you Dansko for figuring out how to get arch support into this elegant design! Please make more styles with this sole. The fronts of my feet are wide with bunions, but my heels are slim; regular fit is just fine. I’m always size 41, but 40 was the right size for me.

So happy that Dansko made a less bulky shoe. I wear a size 11 and the clog look makes me look like I am wearing the shoe box! These felt great on and I was able to wear them all day in my retail job. My fore foot is slightly wider than my heel and these worked well for me. Hope more colors will be available soon.

I wanted a simple flat that has arch support and is sufficiently wide. Dansko is my go-to shoe, not for style, but for comfort. But I must say that I love the look and feel of these shoes. The leather is beautifully soft. Looks well made. As far as comfort goes, I didn't walk around in them because I immediately realized they were slipping off my heal. My finger was able to easily slide in behind my heal, even though I ordered the size I always wear in Dansko. So I'm exchanging them for the next size down and really hope they will fit perfectly because these Danskos are really very nice looking.

I really love these shoes! They seem to fit a bit large. I ordered a size down from my clogs. They are comfortable and fashionable. Love the material. The only problem is they squeak! Every.. single.. step! I changed the insoles for some old ones I have from some Eddie Bauer slip-ones. No more squeak.

Initially, I bought my usual Dansko size: 41, but they were about a half size too long, so I ordered a size 40, and they were too small. Back they both go. I was happy to find a good looking support arch in a flat; the leather is very soft. Very sad about the sizing problem. : (

The shoes fit fine, and they are good quality, but sadly they make my big feet look even bigger. It was a poor choice on my part.

First, very comfortable shoe. I have "bad feet" from years of running and wearing heels, and these are very comfortable. The only downside is the color. They are more red-orange than the picture suggests. They will pair nicely with navy blue dress pants though. I'm sending mine back because I wanted more of a brown color.

These run large. I wear a 7.5 - 8, but in this shoe I fit a size 37 which converts to a US size 6.5. Once I got the right size, the shoe fit perfectly. Super comfortable, stylish, good arch support, traction etc. I walked all over Washington DC in these. Love them.

I wish I’d never read the reviews. Everyone said it runs large-so order a size down. I did and now I have to exchange them for my usual size. I always wear a Dansko sz 40. And US size 10. My toes were jammed into the front of this size 39. But they seemed to be very comfortable and soft as gloves.

I normally wear a 7.5-8W, or an 8.5M. I ordered these in 38. They started out kind of snug fitting, but reviews said that they loosen up. Yes. They do loosen up. However, they are the "ever expanding shoe". Within 1 month, they are flopping off of my feet. I need to curl my toes to keep them on. I've put heel pads to try to make them fit better, but they are still floppy. What a waste. I initially bought another pair in another color, but thankfully returned them before wearing when I saw what was going on with these. The same thing is happening with the Dansko clogs I bought, which really sucks because they were super comfortable in the beginning. I've wasted over $300 on Dansko shoes, and will steer clear of this brand due to the uncontrollable stretching issues.

I have been on the hunt for loafers with decent support. I stumbled on these shoes and loved the camel color. Simply stunning. When they arrived they got my foot perfectly. They don’t have a ton of support, but they do have nice padding on the heel and a decent amount of arch support. They do need to be broken in just a little, but they are wearable out of the box. Definitely recommend.

I needed a neutral soled shoe to put my orthotics into so I could wear them at work and these were great! Fits them perfectly and I can be in them all day with no problem. The top part of the shoe was a little tight at first but the leather loosened up quickly and now I have zero issues!

In general, I have a problem with shoes because I have a long foot and I have bunions and need arch support. These flats were the best I have found in a long time. Not perfect because the arch support is poor but I'm hoping I can put a lift in them to help. The shoe is soft so it doesn't seem to bother my bunions.

Needed comfortable, plain black flats for work. Thought these were the ones! I'm a solid size 8, and usually a 39 in Dansko. Sent the 39's back, too big. And now the reordered 38's are too small. Grrrrr. The quest continues for the unicorn of black, flat, leather, stylish shoes for the office. Other than that, truly a nice shoe. Well made and will probably wear nicely due to the quality materials.

I love these shoes. My only complaint is that the leather has gotten kind of dirty- a problem I've never had. I used shoe cream and they still look dirty. My white sneakers come clean but this leather is softer and more porous. I have them in black and those do not show the dirt like the tan ones.

As suggested I ordered a size down - I’m a true 7.5 wide and this was not even close to possible. Could not get my foot into the shoe.

Loved the leather, very soft and a great looking shoe but I ordered a 5.5-6 (I wear a 5.5) and it was huge, since this is the smallest size that they make I will not be able to reorder. I think the sizing is way off and from the looks of the other reviews everyone has said the same thing.

This is my first pair of Dansko and am impressed. I’ve been wearing Vionic, Rockport, and Cobb Hill. These shoes fit perfectly and while tight on the top of my foot for the first few hours, the quickly conformed to my foot. They are comfortable, supportive, and nice-looking for a flat with arch support in comparison with old-looking styles. I like that they are real leather.

FINALLY!! I have purchased and returned too many shoes to count in the past several years. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars. I own several pairs of All Birds sneakers, but prefer to not wear them for work. I have high arches, with a tendency for plantar fasciitis…so need arch support. I ALSO have bunions. All the shoes I’ve tried for work either don’t have any support or don’t have removable insoles to accommodate my orthotics. If I find those things, the shoes hurt my bunions! These shoes have arch support AND don’t hurt my bunions! They have a removable insole, but I don’t need my orthotics for these shoes. I’ve now purchased two colors and there will be more to come. Like others, I had to size down. I typically wear a 9. I had to do 8.5 in this shoe.

So comfortable right out of the box! They even have a bit more cushion and support than I expected. I am hoping to wear them all over town!

This is my first pair of Danskos. After reading lots of reviews, I decided I'd better order down a size -- I wear a 9.5 Medium to narrow, and a 41 in Naot, for reference. In these shoes, the 39 fits perfectly !! (that's a first!). So these shoes must run a whole size too large. My feet are slightly narrower than many mediums and the width of these is perfect, with plenty of room for toes, and no pick up in the heels. There is moderate padding and moderate arch support (my feet are bony and fussy, hence wearing Naots a lot) and most flats just don't fit or I walk out of them. These come up far enough on my feet to stay on nicely. I now have the black and the tan in these and will wear tham a LOT. Not for all day walking for me (not padded or supportive enough for that) but for typical days these will be great. The simple styling is almost elegant! The little tiny bit of heel helps me too -- I don't like or wear flat flat -- so these are wonderful overall. Seems like good quality leather too.

I want these to fit soooooo bad but my feet are too wide :(. Great shoes though!

I wanted to love these. They were too small! I wear a size 10, 9.5 in some brands, normal width feet. Ordered the size 40 (according to the size chart). They squeeze my feet so badly that it physically hurt to try them on. The heels rubbed and it pinched on the size of my foot as well. Had to return.

These shoes are snug and I thought I'd be able to stretch them but I can hardly wear them without getting blisters around the heal area. Should have sent them back :(

I find this shoe fit as expected. I already have a brown pair and wanted them in black. They are great to wear to work as I walk and stand a good amount but still need to look professional. These are comfortable and supportive for a flat shoe. The leather is flexible and gets softer over time.
