Wanted to like these but they weren't for me. The hype was unreal for this shoe with many bloggers/reviewers claiming this as the shoe of the year contender. Maybe that caused me to set the bar too high. Definitely a lightweight shoe and they are oh-so quiet while running in them. I tried to push these on tempo runs but I didn't get anything in return. I think my tempo runs in them actually came in slower than my regular days. They were no faster than my daily trainers. I enjoyed the upper as they were very breathable, which is a requirement for running in the south during the spring/summer. My feet felt pretty beat after the two runs that I did in these. I will likely go to the Endorphin Speed 2 once they are released as the Speed 1 provided more of what I am looking for in a tempo shoe.

Best running shoe (non plated) of the year, hands down! New Balance is really on top of it.

I’ve put about 10 miles in them on a couple short runs so far and they are great. Really no break in period needed. They are a great combo of light weight but great cushioning. A perfect shoe for easy runs but you can also pick up the pace in them too. And they look great, so that’s a plus!

My favorite shoe of all time. Trampoline soles, even for a lightweight runner. It helps that the visual design is eye catching.

The softiest and bounciest running shoe, with a killer design and colorway to boot. Runs small and perhaps narrow.

Super lightweight with lots of spring. Looking forward to doing my walking routine in them.

Absolutely one of the BEST New Balance shoes on the market. Since COVID, I have had such pain in my heels that just won’t go away. My last pair of NB had finally spent their last mile. Put on these new bad boys and OH MY!!! Comfort from the first step. I can stand, walk and run in these with ZERO pain. I have wide flipper feet so I ordered my size in 2E. PERFECT width. A regular in my size would have been way too narrow.

Impressed. Been looking for a peg turbo one replacement for sometime. Super cushy and adds excellent energy return that excels when picking up the tempo. Only complaint is the tongue and it’s shape. Hopefully the fuel cell midsole holds up.

Fantastic and lightweight shoe!

I’m going to have to exchange it for a size up but I love the shoes they’re very comfortable it feels like walking on air.

First time wearing NB. I have pretty wide feet so I got 10.5 in wide, they fit true to size and are extremely comfortable. Terrific quality & value for active use at the gym or anywhere else. Best of all they arrived to my door a day early, thanks Zappos

Absolute best trainer I've ever ran in. Lightweight, cushioned, responsive ride. Felt way more comfortable in wide version though I don't wear wide in any other shoe. Pairs really nicely with the FuelCell RC Elites.

Probably the best shoe I've used in a very long time. I liked them so much after 50 miles I already have another pair ordered so I can rotate them

Everything about these shoes is great except the durability. They are a joy to run in, and I love that they come in wide and they fit beautifully. But they are delicate. My son is a high school cross country runner, and the uppers on his first pair ripped on the sides where they meet the midsole within about 2 months. Then his second pair had the same thing happen within 3 months. As for mine, after about 100 miles the heel got punctured and partly deflated. If you're going to get these, you want to limit their use to running on very smooth roads, treadmill, or a track, and definitely don't wear them for anything else ever, including dirt roads or gravel. We're switching to more durable shoes.

Nice cushy heel. The fore foot could use more cushion. The mid area has a very good locked in feeling and the heel also felt nice. My only issue was the big toe area was too narrow or maybe short because my toe would roll over the edge. Slender feet should like this shoe.
