These shoes are PERFECT right out of the box. I have flat feet. I really wanted to find a light, supportive shoe. THIS WAS IT!! I'm a happy runner now. :-)

My husband and I both wear the NB Fresh Foam 1080. These shoes are the best overall of any other running shoe. Highly Recommended!!!!

I have been wearing NB shoes for years, in part because they are one of the few brands that carry an EE width. I purchased my usual size in this style—7.5EE—but they were just too snug, both in length and width. I wasn’t really crazy about the style so opted not to try a larger size. Thanks once again, Zappos, for making returns so easy!

Great sneakers, they are light and have great cushioning. Tried a number of styles and sizes and settled on the Wide 8.5. Could have done with a bit of arch support.

I have relatively wide feet - half a size up, as suggested, was HUGE. So I got regular size. They still feel surprisingly big. But any smaller, I suspect they'd be bad for running distances. Overall, happy with support, love the color, a bit confused by sizing.

I loved the look of these shoes. The width and sizing felt fine but the heel was an issue. I felt like it was incredibly too shallow and my heel was slipping out. I used the heel locking lacing technique which helped but was still not ideal for me. I prefer the 880's over this style.

Not as comfy with this latest version of the 1080. The insole feels slightly less cushy. There’s nothing wrong with it necessarily, but it’s not the same. For anyone concerned about the higher back of the heel area, I don’t notice that at all. Foot stabilization is excellent.

My toes are an issue so the shoes didn't work, but through no fault of the shoes. I always cross my fingers when I order.

These are nicely padded, and very comfortable. However, they don't provide enough support for me. NB: I have a foot drop, so I need extra support.

I have been searching for a pair of shoes that would accommodate both my wide toes and my orthotics. The material on these has enough give so they don’t pinch or rub my toes. There’s no rubber toe guard to add friction. The cushioning in the soles is nice with more flexing in the forefoot than I would prefer but it does still provide guidance through the stride unlike some of the other models of Fresh Foam. My go to shoes has been Hoka One until they narrowed the toe box. Arch support is moderate without my orthotics even for my high arches.

these are great sneakers - especially for a treadmill. I have owned another pair in the past. For some weird reason - this pair purchased here was irregular in size and width

It's great for the heel, but as I stride through the midfoot and toe, there's barely any cushion or energy return.

I loved these shoes at first, but after wearing them 6 months teaching (about 3 times a week), they are starting to get really loose and starting to slip at the heel. It's hard to keep them tight enough that they're not too tight over the top of my foot, yet tight enough to stop slipping at my heel.

Unfortunately, the v11 is not the same as the v10 (which I loved). These are bigger and the arch support feels like it's in a different place (though that may be because the same size shoe is bigger). If you loved the v10 and can't find any left over, maybe try a half size smaller in these.

I have worn New Balance 990 sneakers for years. I ordered this style in my usually size and they were too small. I will reorder 1/2 size larger

The footbed of this shoe was very hard and not what I expected. The mesh on the front is very thin and I could see my sock through it. Had to return.

Why can't they leave a good thing alone? The 1080 v10 was a great shoe with terrific cushion. NB reduced the cushion and the wonderful squish, changed the heel design (now it's too roomy, and my heel slips), and also changed the shape of the toe box slightly- made them a bit uglier. These are going back. Luckily, Asics listened to feedback and undid whatever they did to the Gel-Nimbus, so that's what I bought instead. Great cushion, arch support, and fit.

I was disappointed bc the style and fit has changed. Formerly, the 1080 v10 in a 10B was snug but stretchy and supportive for my high arch and narrow foot. This model is wider and not as conforming/stretchy. The 10B does not fit me in this updated style and I cannot find a narrow to try. I went back to the V10 and returned this shoe. I did love the color tho!

Like so many others, I was an avid fan of the 1080s up until the major remodel of V10. I switched shoes but have continued to long for the 1080s of yesteryear, so I was hoping they fixed some of the design flaws that started in V10. Nope. V11 has this strange grip around the ankle that chafes and the tongue design makes any lace adjustment nearly impossible. It's really too bad because they brought back the electric coral color that I loved so much in the V8. Not sure why New Balance had to go and ruin this formerly awesome show.

I can't tell about the size. I ordered 1/2 size up. They are uncomfortable. This shoe is so cheaply made it is not worth the price. No different than bargain brands. Save your $$$$$.

I've purchased two pair of shoes in the past 2 weeks, same size I've purchased the past several years. Both pair were too small.

Terrible. Very uncomfortable. Not cushioned well at all. I work 12 hr. shifts at the hospital and by the 3rd. hour my feet were hurting like crazy. Going back to my Hokas. Very disappointed.
