I have been wearing ASIC running shoes, most recently a Contend 9, but I wanted more cushioning for walking on the road. These fit the bill. Because I have a narrow heel and bony foot a lot of footwear can be too wide in the heel or too high and hit my ankle bone. These fit perfectly. Yesterday I turned my ankle and it was a bit tender but these sneakers supported my foot so well my ankle didn’t hurt once during a 3 mile walk!

I am a big Asics fan, and own several pairs. When I saw these, I knew they'd be perfect for work. Unfortunately, they feel too tight even after re-lacing, especially in the toe area. I've never had to break in an Asics shoe, but I'm hoping that my feet will get used to these.

I bought three pairs of white shoes for clinicals before these. These shoes are BY FAR THE MOST COMFORTABLE!

I bought these thinking the leather would last longer then the mesh. In less then 6 months I had two tears, one in each toe of each shoe. The material in that area is very thin. Instead of my good shoes, I now wear them for yard work. Very disappointing. I am not sure what to get at this point.

These shoes from Asiscs do not disappoint. I needed solid non-mesh shoes for nursing school. The fit is perfect, the shoes are light and the foam inside the shoes is soft and cushy but has good support. I always buy Asicis and I'm never disappointed.

I currently only wear ASICS shoes. Size was a little small but I normally wear a size that is a little long in length. It is narrower than other ASICS shoes which I like since I have a narrower foot. Arch support is adequate. I have worn the shoes all afternoon and have been very pleased. I would have given an overall 5 star but due to the shoe being shorter than my 5 other pair of ASICS I wanted to be fair to other readers.

This is my second pair. I exclusively use them for walking about 4 miles a day On streets and sidewalks in a very hilly area.

The arch support is disappointing, and the insole is glued in. The sole in general doesn't have as much cushioning as the more expensive Asics that I usually get, so I guess you get what you pay for.

Great for walking on the concrete/sidewalks with my dogs. Very comfortable for walking a few miles. Requires a thick sock for heel to be protected.

These shoes are very comfortable and exactly what I was looking for. I normally wear a size 9 is Asics and ordered that first but had to order a half size smaller as the 9 was too big.

The shoes are beautiful but the Wide was really narrow on my foot.

I didn't realize how worn down my other shoes were until I put these on. Instantly all my plantar fasciitis, shin splint, heel pain problems went away! I work all day in a lab standing for most of it and these are great!

This shoe isn't very wide, so it was very uncomfortable! Will give the 12 Wide a try when it's back in stock.

This is a very nice walking shoe--great support and lightweight. The only problem is that the tongue tips come up too high and dig (slightly) into my foot near the anklebone, causing some discomfort. Not sure why these were constructed this way--the earlier asics had tongues that were not as "bowed."

Fit is great. A little stiff at first getting my foot into shoe, thought they would be a terrible fit but the fit was perfect. Wore the shoes all day at work the first day

These are comfortable walking shoes, used for daily 2 mile walks and easy hikes. They keep my feet a little drier than the mesh running shoes on wet days.

While I will wear my new walking shoes, I am not as happy with them as I was with my previous pair, which no longer appear to be available. They are made of some kind of leather like upper, making the shoe heavier than the one I wore for years. That one was a fabric upper and much lighter weight.

I've been wearing size 10.5 shoes for the past few decades, and they always just fit. Not these, however. They are laughably too small. I couldn't even get my foot inside them, which means they are easily a size and a half smaller than a comparable pair of size 10.5 from a different manufacturer. I don't know what the Asics crew was smoking when they designed these, but I want some of it because they were obviously completely out of their gourds. Seriously, stay away from these shoes.

So disappointed. These shoes might be marked size 12, but they are not....way too small. Gotta return

Was afraid of changing the shoes that I wore for so long, but tried with these ones and felt relief in all senses. Great fit, arch support and great price.

The best shoes for me BUT they sent me the incorrect size! Ordered a 9 they sent a 7!. I reordered from Amazon cuz they make returns easier. These are the best I have flat feet and love to walk on beach and they are good for me.

I remove the inner sole and put my orthotics in the shoe. I look for shoes that have an easy liner to remove. I love the shoe itself. It is very comfortable.
