Just spent four days in this tent and could not be more happy with it. Easy to set up by my self and held up in heavy rain and even with the roof vents open no water got into the tent. There are also a lot of pockets inside the tent and I had more pockets then I knew what to do with. I was also surprised to find that inside the tent on all four areas where the tent poles are there are small loops that one could use as a clothes line if you wanted to. Another plus is that it has a large vestibule that I was able to use to store my bicycle in when it was raining. Lastly the tent comes with guylines that are already attached to the tent and the rain flay which is a plus as it is a tall tent and will need to be staked down well if you are going to be in a windy area.

Fairly easy to set up, but be warned that the poles are long! It can easily fit 4 and has great headroom for taller campers.

Absolutely worth it. Easy set up easy break down and I love that you don't have to retold ten times to get it back into the bag. Just one and done. Folds a bit in the wind but it's tall so I saw that coming and stayed completely staked. Felt safe and comfortable.

My family stayed perfectly dry during a serious Texas thunderstorm with heavy rain and win. Big vestibule. Full standing inside. Couldn't ask for more. Look at my pic to see how I left the vent flaps closed for the rain. Like any tent, we made sure nothing was in contact with the walls during the downpour.

This thing is so spacious! I was shocked at how much room there is. Fits 4 people with ease (could put more if you wanted to really). Very impressed with the quality for the cost.

Tent is comfortable, easy to set up, and love the storage pockets. However, I have concerns about how this will hold up in the rain since the rain fly only provides partial coverage on the back side of the tent. Also, who in the world thought the storage bag was a good design? It's like carrying your tent in a grocery bag. Hope NF comes out with a new bag to replace this one.

I'm happy with the tent. It held up well in the wind and had no problem with any moisture from the rain. 2 people were required to get the rainfly on because the wind. That would be the only problem....

The bag is way too small. Folded from the factory, yes it fits. Home folded, does not fit. The tent has three stake down straps on each of the two sides, none on the front or back. Without the rain fly, wind blew it around and it appeared very unstable. The front half of the tent has two on each side, the back half has only one tent peg strap on each corner/side. 6 total are not enough for a big first class high dollar tent. Need add one each side, add straps by each door. At least put them there so they can be used if needed. Too much wind can pull out the single pegs on front of tent. Not secure. With the fly on, will be better, without the fly, the screen protects from the wind, somewhat. I love the tent so far, but you skimped on the straps and the bag..

The tent itself is actually awesome. It has great space and room to stand in (I'm 6ft), great screen design, easy setup. The aluminum poles are great and the frame is very sturdy and keeps the tent material tight. But from there it gets bad. There are no interior loops for hanging items for lighting except for just one at the top middle point. There is no upper suspended storage net either that is common to domes. Despite the lack of interior loops and top storage, the real issue is the exterior. The rainfly is not a true FULL rainfly, as the North Face labeling claims on the item description/bar code tag on the carrying bag. The FULL rainfly is the main reason I bought this tent only to find out it is only half coverage on the rear part of the tent. disappointed, taking it back, and just going to invest in another brand that actually offers the same design but with and actual full rainfly.

I have been camping, hiking, and backpacking for 60 years and I have owned many tents. This North Face tent is a major disappointment. The rain fly covers maybe 1/2 of the tent which means that in a hard cool rain there will be major condensation on the tent walls. The vestibule is far too big and the zipper configuration is awkward to use.The 2 doors appear to be installed upside down. I suspect that the North Face I knew in the 1970s whose Octagon mountaineering dome tents kept me safe on many winter trips, would never have put this tent in their catalogue..

North Face Wawona 4 was a huge disappointment. Poles bent in wind. Now unusable. North Face would not honor warranty. Do not buy North Face Tents like this that can not handle wind and rain!

Tent poles bent in the first storm we used it for. Not only was the tent ruined on our third trip out but North Face does not honor its warranty. I expected great things from our first North Face tent and instead was disappointed by poor materials unable to endure the environment and a complete lack of support from North Face afterwards.

This is a fine tent for car camping. We bought this for our family and it worked well for the four of us. It's large and easy to set up. It generally is high quality. Normally, I would give this tent four stars. Unfortunately, we ended up camping in a pretty bad storm and one of the poles broke. We had to leave the pole behind. The website said that North Face generally replaces poles. But when I called they didn't have any. I would even pay for the replacement pole! It's disappointing that there isn't better customer service. It seems a waste to buy a new tent because of a broken pole. That's why I gave this tent 1 star.
