This is my third pair of Hedgehogs. The design has been changed slightly for the better, with one less set of shoelace eyelets and a shorter shoelace that won't drag over the side. Good sole support, love the Goretex. Shoe runs a half size smaller, that has been a consistent finding.

The mesh material on the toe box of these shoes is wearing out after only 3 months of use. I only wear them for a one hour walk each day. Not recommended.

Excellent shoe out of the box. Felt great going on and I went with my running shoe size (12). Arch support was very good and appropriate if you need modest arch support. Was most surprised by the weight; lighter than I expected which is good in my mind. Knocked off one star for style, but that is totally subjective. It would be cool if these shipped with a speed lace option, but again, a personal preference.

Versatile all-around shoe. Hiking, walking, keeps feet dry in rain. Can wear all day - comfortable. I wear down the tread after a couple of years and get the same shoe again.

Was a great shoe, lasted 1.5yrs, really sucks that they don't seem to make it anymore.

This is my second pair of Hedgehog Futurelights. I chose them because of their aggressive tread; something I need when I'm working on steep hillsides around our home. After nearly 2-years of use my first pair developed the same cracks in the upper areas that others have mentioned. I'm not sure if the manufacturer has made any changes to help prevent this issue but for me a 2-year life cycle is fine; especially given how much I've worn them and the harsh treatment they've been subjected to.

Great shoe. Just needs more cushion and support on the insole.

I walk or hike about 25-30 miles a week and these have held up great over a year. Comfortable, actually waterproof, fits pretty accurately.

This is my second pair of these. I like the looks, the support, and they are great for the outdoor because they are waterproof.

These shoes are comfortable. You can’t beat the vibran sole. I’m impressed with the futurelight lining of the shoes. Makes them true water proof. I highly recommend these shoes. Especially if you are a fan of The North Face brand.

This is my third pair of Hedgehogs. They are comfortable, durable, good looking, and last a long time. I use them every day from work to pleasure.
