Fit and stability are excellent. I was having issues with my knees, but they cleared up when I started running in these shoes. I knocked a star off because they are not as cushioned as the previous year's model. I'm a 65-year-old female runner, 5'3" and 157 pounds, running primarily on a treadmill.

These shoes are will accommodate a thick custom orthotic; however, the soles are made of that soft foam. If you don't have foot issues, they might work for you. I found myself losing my balance quite often. They are true to size; however, the heel is very narrow. Had to return due to the soles.
I'd also recommend:

really wanted this to work but it wasn't wide enough for my feet. So sad to be returning this. Going to try a Brooks in extra wide. Thank you Zappos for your great return policy.

I am trying to replace a previous pair of Saucony stability shoes with a wide toe box. Tried Hokas also. I like the enhanced padding on this Saucony but my toes go numb during my 3 mile daily walk. I want to return them to try same shoe in wide but they are out of stock. It concerns me that a wide may fit in the toe box but slip off the heel. I am within the trial period so will return.

My biggest issue was the stability of the toe box. The tip has some sort of plastic in it to maintain shape and it got a crease in it the 3rd day. Then the other side got creased as well and then more creases began to form. They rub against the tips of my toes.

I bought these after chatting with a saucony sales tech; I used to love Omni walkers except for pointed toe; these have a squishy arch and a gap where laces begin in toes but I feel size is fine! I am on line with hoka bondi also! Can you suggest another sneaker for fallen arches and hammer toes that is super cushioned for walking and just wearing?

Always bought size 9 Hurricanes but disappointed this model fits too large. Just too uncomfortable to wear. Loved all the ones in the past.

Great shoe. The cushioning is unbelievable. Very soft ride. Wide toe box. Again the laces are similar to the Freedom 3 & stretchy, so I need to stop sometimes to retie. I use these shoes strictly for the treadmill.

Lots of cushion and no break-in period needed. Plenty of room in toe box so good for people with bunions. My heel slips out of back of shoe which did not happen with other Saucony running shoes. Also I can feel the difference in weight- not as light as I like. I wear a 7 in dress shoes and boots but 7.5 in running shoes. The 7.5 fit as expected.

These shoes fit well and gave a lot of great cushioning for runs, initially.
However, they broke down very fast and I got only a few weeks of protection; my body aches and I need new shoes again.
This does not happen in my Hokas.
As a long time Saucony fan, this was a disappointment.

Have worn Hurricane for more than 30 years. Sadly, most recent versions (22 and 23) don't hold up well. Wear marks that used to appear after 3-4 months now appear after only 1-2 weeks. While I like shoe, would like to see outer shoes from top to sole wear better.

I've had Hurricanes before. I don't know what it is about this particular version, but it throws something off in my gait resulting in knee pain. I've tried them a few times alternating with my old pair, and it's definitely related to this shoe. I use a prescription orthotic insert and it couldn't compensate. Also, in general, it seems like the toe box is getting more narrow in Sauconys. I'm not sure where I'll go from here.

I really hoped this shoe would work for me, but it feels narrower and shorter than the New Balance that I usually wear. The arch support and stability felt very good and the black with pink was pretty cute ( I need black shoes for work). Not enough room in the toe box for my problem feet--back they go! Thanks Zappos

the shoes felt great except for at the ankle when trying to do exercises such as side lunges or stretches the shoe is too high & stiff at the ankle for side movement, created painful bruising. Otherwise if just walking or running, these are good shoes

I have always been a Saucony Hurricane runner, but the new "lightweight" version is definitely disappointing. They took from the cushion and comfort. It definitely lost its appeal from other supportive running shoe brands.

I bought and ran in two pair of the Hurricane 22. Not only did I LOVE them, but I also recommended to other runners. The updated fit of the Hurricane 23 is nothing like the 22. I have had to size up a a full size and it is definitely stiffer than before. If you decide to go back to the fit of the 22, please let me know ASAP and I will buy multiple pairs.

These were my first pair of shoes in my decade of running where I noticed perhaps my feet aren't symmetrical. I had to lace for high arches and still tie on the outside of my foot.. just not the shoe for my left foot. Right one is great!

Better than most for a narrow foot, but still too wide. Wish they were made in a narrow. Took a few days for my foot to get comfortable in the shoe. I tried my usual insole, but the one that came in the shoe proved more comfortable.

I loved the stability and arch support. I had to return them without really knowing how well they'd do because I didn't think there was enough cushion at the front.

Is Saucony hurricane 23 gonna have some other colors coming up? Or only these two colors?!

I have a previous version which I love. The 23 was tight, laced too short. Had to return them.
