A solid continuation to the freedom line (my 5th pair.) Great feel of the road, with enough cushion to keep me going for 13.1 miles. The perfect blend of stability and protection. A bit stiffer in the sole than the 3s and 2s, but overall probably the best of the lot.

I wear these for indoor gym workouts and couldn't be happier. Perfect for treadmill, body weight exercises, and even lifting weights.

Lightweight with moderate cushion, l like freedom better than endorphin because the endorphins are too warped at the front

Feels lighter than the Freedom 2 and 3, not quite as much return but still absorbs the impact well. Overall it's an excellent shoe for daily runs that's still very comfortable, just not quite as "plush" feeling as the previous models.

They are good looking trainers and were extremely comfortable this morning on my first walk. They eased the tingling in my toes (left foot) and felt as if they held my feet straight/erect. After 25 years of wearing Saucony running shoes, I'm 100% please with these walking shoes. Thank you, Saucony!

We purchased this for our 12 year old grandson for back to school. He likes them and says the fit good. He also likes to run with them and is on a track team. They look like a well made shoe.

Super comfortable. I have two pairs, one for running, one for being on my feet all day at work.

I love lightweight, low drop, cushioned, stable footwear and these are perfect for everything I've thrown at them. Never bottoms out. Some variation in production, .4oz weight difference between two pairs

I honestly cant remember the last time I wore a pair of running shoes that made me aspire to run more purely because of how it takes away all of the pain and discomfort of running. When I run with these shoes, I don't focus on my feet anymore as it really feels like running with memory foam cushion on my feet. I was into my Asics until now and this shoe has converted me to be a Saucony fan. Highly recommend this pair.

I have many pairs of running shoes, but these are my favorite. A daily trainer that works just as well for a recovery run or speedwork. The midsole has nice energy return and is a bit firm until they break in. The shoe feels very neutral. I like the 4mm drop for trainers. The upper fits very securely but the shoe is flexible. The shoe has a proper outsole which works even with light trail running and gravel. The shoes handle light rain and wet pavement well without getting my socks wet. They are a bit pricey, but very durable. I have over 500 miles on my first pair and they are in better shape than Kinvaras with half the mileage. Especially the midsole seems to hold its shape well. I am now looking to get another pair for next summer. Pros: versatility, durability, fit, style Cons: price (although good price to durability ratio), availability in Europe

Love this shoe-- BUT, wide variation in quality ! Two pairs were perfect. One pair was poorly constructed, pronated on one side, fit poorly even though same size. Interestingly the 2 perfect pairs were citrus fog color. The bad pair was black ???? Now, I'm a little reluctant to purchase the shoe again.

I've run in every version of the Freedom, and after 200 miles in the 4 it has overtaken the Freedom ISO 2 as my favorite running shoe ever. There are major improvements from the 3 in everything from the shape of the toe box to the weight of the shoe. I rotate between these, the Kinvara 12s and the Endorphin Speed 2s, and the Freedoms are by far my favorite Sauconys.

I bought these a month back and have done some 70 odd miles of running with them. For me, these shoes are just perfect - lightweight - comfortable fit - Does not feel bulky, can be worn as a casual daily shoe too - Perfect balance of cushion and firmness in the sole

I've been running in these for two months and love them. They felt the best out of 8 different neutral trainers I tried on at the local running store. The cushioning is excellent without being bulky. At first I thought the toe box was little bigger than it needed to be, but now that I'm used to the Freedoms, my old trainers feel cramped in comparison. I'm 190 lbs and use the Freedoms for about 60% road, 40% trail with long runs up to 10 miles and they are holding up fine.

An extremely worthy successor to the Freedom line. The addition of the Powerrun PB foam makes for a fantastic ride. I dropped a 20 miler in them the second time out, and they felt incredible the entire way. They have the guts to get up and go when you need to without compromising the ability to go long. This shoe is versatile, and I like that. Fit true to size, just the right amount of structure for the upper, and an awesome midsole. Definitely a shoe I will end up with more than one pair of.
