Salomon shoes are the best fit for my feet. As a woman over 50 the fit and comfort is what is the most important aspect but these also look great as well. I also prefer true laces as opposed to the quicklace.

I can't express how much I love this shoe. I use these often for running and need to buy a second pair. I actually purchased the Predict Soc W. And don't care for them as much. But these shoes offer so much support. They are comfortable with a thin or thick sock and you have enough cushion everywhere. If you like a more breathable material, this may not be the shoe for you, then perhaps the Predict Soc. But will definitely purchase these again.

I bought these about a month ago for work, I work at a hospital and am on my feet all day, and I absolutely love these! I am typically a size 7 and I normally need to size down for Salomon shoes, I ended up exchanging for a 6.5. I like to wear really thin socks too so that may play a role. I have high arches too and I feel these have pretty great support already that my orthotics aren't 100% necessary.

I don't understand Solomon's rating system for frequency. This shoe, according to their system is ideal for running 2-3 days per week. I am a marathoner and have used this shoe for the past two seasons, running 5 days a week, and find it to be a stability shoe (I tend to overpronate- ankle rolls in and arch flattens). The soles show wear after about 3 months of use. Hope this is helpful for other runners out there. I normally wear an 8 in running shoes for extra room in the tow box and the 7.5 in these is perfect for me.
