Bought these shoes a couple of weeks ago. Very comfortable and good-looking, BUT lacing does not go far enough back and heels lift out of shoe when I walk. Any solutions greatly appreciated.

This is my third pair of Salomons, and the first of this model (previous purchases were XA Pro 3D trail running, which I decimated through daily use). I put this pair on my feet and am instantly reminded why I love Salomon. Even with a long, narrow foot (and one slightly longer than the other), they cinch up just fine and feel like I'm wearing gloves. I feel stable and secure with these on my feet. After recently trying and returning two pairs from other brands--one for poor quality and one for fit--I am so happy to be reminded how much I appreciate Salomon. (As a side note, I bought my first Salomons on the recommendation of an outdoor adventure guide who told me that, after years of trying many brands, he now wears only Salomon.)

Bought these for a trip to Yellowstone and the Tetons and they were great. Mostly a road trip with some light hiking sprinkled in. Plenty of cushioning and support for comfort. Stiff and grippy sole to handle the terrain.

The fit is great. The toe box is snug but has some padding toward the top outside of the box which makes them fit extremely well. I use them for hiking and disc golf so they are great for athletic activities. I’ll be buying another pair in a few years whenever these get torn up. Highly recommend.

I was looking for a waterproof trail running shoe that I could use for hiking. I figured it was the same application but slower movement of feet. These are NOT the answer. After a few hikes they are looking terrible. I am pretty bummed. I suppose if you are urban hiking they are snappy but not for the outdoors at all

Great shoe. I have had these for about a year and a half now. They still look brand new and the fit is fantastic. Highly recommend.

I've had these around a month and couldn't be happier with my purchase. The look and feel of these shoes is exactly what I was looking for and they're waterproof! I highly recommend

Fit is spot on. Comfortable out of the box. Haven’t had long so I can’t comment on durability. Some light hikes, rain and general use so far. Feet dry and comfortable. Will probably be my go to sneaks now that it’s getting cooler.

Great fit, always a good show. This one is less aggressive looking for everyday wear.

These shoes arrived and had already been used buy someone before they returned them to Zappos. The laces were double knotted and there was small hairs on the shoes like someone had gotten a haircut in them and sent them back. Zappos really needs to inspect the returns to assure this doesn’t happen. I thought it was policy to inspect them for wear but I guess this pair got through the cracks. It is almost comical they gave me a $10 credit to my account. This was the last pair in stock so of course I have to find something else and I have been looking for 2 months. The reviews for shoes are not from trying on

Great shoes. + they passed the pressure washer test.. bought them for work (I have to do a light pressure wash down at shift end. Like them so much I wear em all the time (feet are totally dry afterwards)..Need another pair. Looking here to see other colors.

I am in an eternal quest for the perfect shoe. To me this means the only shoe I will wear while traveling (shoes take up too much room in a suitcase) or for ever day wear when at home. I want it to be versatile. I want to be able to wear them on a hike, or a run and still be comfortable enough to tour with (without looking like I am a thru hiker) and also to look good enough to wear to a casual dinner. When I took my last trip with these shoes, I was very hopeful. They passed the test. The Gor Tex was a nice bonus. My quest has ended.

Couldn't be happier with this pair! Very comfortable and breathable without sacrificing durability and function. Recently walked through a major storm and my feet were completely dry on the inside. Will definitely buy the same shoes once these no longer hold together!

I needed a pair of shoes for summer showers. I do like these but the top line of the shoe around the ankles is very low. I wish it had a slightly more aggressive heel cup or a double eyelet at the top of the laces to give some better heel hold. I do get some heel slip especially if I am wearing thin slick socks. The nice part about these shoes is the grip and how cool they remain. I don't care how breathable Gore Tex is they still make shoes warmer but I have had these out in humid 90+ degree weather and my feet did not burn up.

These were comfortable right out of the box. I purchased these for an upcoming trip to a western national park and wanted something with Gore-Tex for some light to moderate trail hiking that wasn't a heavy mid-height shoe or bona fide hiking boot. While these would be more of a trail runner, I feel they'll be perfect my needs. You cannot go wrong with Salomon.

I have a wide foot and had to purchase a size larger to accommodate that. The fit is still great and the shoe is the lightest I can ever remember wearing. The GTX is working fine after several outings in the rain.

For some reason the left shoe has a weird noise, feeling when I take a step. Hard to explain. I guess it's females. Hopefully it doesn't get worse.

Like the shoes well enough, they're too tight in the middle and the edges of the insoles bend up and don't feel too good on longer walks. Maybe they could redo that section of the shoe
